Florence lived a well-off but somewhat boring life in a stately home. After turning eighteen, she left this life of luxury to stand on her own two feet, moving into a more urban setting. How will she fit into inner city life?

Her name derives from modern nurse Florence Nightingale (1810-1920) and poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806-1861). Coincidentally, Nightingale was born in Florence, whereas Browning died there.
