Bushveld camping - a camping hotel

A long time ago, a photographer built a makeshift platform on a game farm in Mpumalanga, South Africa, so that he could photograph lions and other wild life. The owners of the game farm, Lion Sands, turned the platform into overnight accommodation of a sort (you still keep your room at the main guesthouse); and then they built more. Here is a picture of one:


Of course, you can hear the lions roar; may be lucky enough to see a leopard in a tree near you eating its prey, and a giraffe may steal your food (that you brought along) out of your plate before you can eat it. Some will say that you must be crazy to sleep there. Others may say: it's an adventure So this is my contribution for the #themeadventure during the #catchup2019. Welcome to my simmified version:



I decided that, instead of putting a bed on a platform, I will simply use tents and make a vacation camping ground. Each tent is on its own hill, but they are connected, and sims can walk between them.




As there are no roaring lions in the game, I added some fun things for Sims to do, so the camping ground offers (beware of the hippo's, please!) fishing, a hot spring, a sauna and a chess table. Needs are catered for with a food stand, a BBQ area, public restrooms (one has a basin, toilet and bath, two have just a toilet and basin, and there are 3 with showers as well - in different areas of the camp site). There are 6 tents where your sims can stay in.



I play tested a copy of the lot, and my test sims had a great vacation (admitting that I started to enjoy it, so they only went home when the shuttle arrived ). No problems were found; I think the lot works very well.
