Compatible with the February 25, 2025 Burglars / Businesses & Hobbies Patch.

This is a mod that changes the tile limits of your tiny homes and each tier that comes with it.

The default is 100 (small home tier), 64 (tiny home tier), 32 (micro home tier).

It goes without saying this mod requires Tiny Living Stuff, or it won't be any good to your game.

Mod Versions

There are several versions of this mod, please only use one, as they all modify the same resource:

TinyHome2000,1500,1000 - 2000 tile limit for small home tier, 1500 for tiny home tier, 1000 for micro home tier
TinyHome1500,1000,500 - 1500 tile limit for small home tier, 1000 for tiny home tier, 500 for micro home tier
TinyHome1000,500,200 - 1000 tile limit for small home tier, 500 for tiny home tier, 200 for micro home tier
TinyHome500,200,100 - 500 tile limit for small home tier, 200 for tiny home tier, 100 for micro home tier
TinyHome200,100,64 - 200 tile limit for small home tier, 100 for tiny home tier, 64 for micro home tier
TinyHome150,80,45 - 150 tile limit for small home tier, 80 for tiny home tier, 45 for micro home tier

If you really want a challenge, theres two flavors that decreases the tile limits too:

TinyHome64,32,16 - 64 tile limit for small home tier, 32 for tiny home tier, 16 for micro home tier
TinyHome32,16,8 - 32 tile limit for small home tier, 16 for tiny home tier, 8 for micro home tier (for the really crazy simmers )

Small disclaimer: if you have a version that allows 1000 tiles or more and you have built 1000+ tiles, the game UI in the "requirements" tab can only display 999 tiles and will be stuck at 999 if you have more than 1000 tiles. This is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect anything (sorry I don't know how to change it). However the small blue text at the top of the screen will display the true number of tiles you have.

Technical Details Q&A - PLEASE READ

- Will tiny home lots made with this mod be uploadable to the gallery?
Yes. It will upload as a "tiny living residential" lot no problem, even if you have exceeded the default 100 tile limit, provided that you don't exceed the mod's limit. It also preserves the tier your lot was in too.

- If I upload a lot to the gallery with this mod installed, will it be flagged as containing CC?
No. It will upload without being tagged as containing CC (if you did not use CC of course). Using this mod to create a lot does not trigger the gallery thinking the lot has CC.

- What happens when other players download my tiny home lot with this mod installed?
If the other player has the same version of the mod - great, all fine. But if they dont have the mod or the same version of it, the lot may not work. It is best to warn potential downloaders that your lot has been built with a mod to increase limits.

- What happens to my existing tiny home lots if I take this mod out?
Not much - it won't break the game. If your lot has exceeded the default 100 tile limit, your lot will no longer be recognized as a tiny home and needs to be rezoned or rebuilt to the default standard. If your lot has 100 tiles or under, it will still be a tiny home but may become a different tier due to the tile limits shifting back to the default.

- What happens to my existing tiny builds if I change my mind and use a different version of this mod?
Again, not much. The lot will automatically adjust to the new limits - so the lot's tier may change. But if you change to a version of this mod with a lower limit than before, some of your previous builds could no longer be recognized as a tiny home, depending on its number of tiles used. But it won't harm the game.

Conflicts
No conflicts known. However just remember to only use one version.

Installation
Please unzip the package file into Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods folder.
