As with most of my builds, I was in need of a lot for my medieval game for a family consisting of a herbalist, pirate and matchmaker or what might be called 'Gypsies'. The real Romani people migrated towards Europe after being driven from their homeland by invaders around the ninth century. They were first called Gypsies when Europeans mistakenly thought they came from Egypt. They were actually from the Punjab region of northern India.
As you can see, this collection of caravans isn't at all medieval, but bright and modern. After looking up pictures and seeing how real Romani caravans are an exciting riot of colour and clutter and I could not find any on here I decided a CC free lot was needed. Many have bedding down the far end, some up on a platform with other smaller bunks below and most often there is some curtaining and decorative mouldings. This is meant to be inspired by the real caravans rather than a copy.
The caravans
This consists of the green 'family' van. If you replace the single bed with Simlogical shelf beds a family of two adults and 2 children can sleep inside. This van comes with some toys, small chest of draws, a bookcase, mini kitchen and the only van with a phone.
The 'brothers' van is blue outside and ready for an artist, with a pottery wheel and an easel. Also has a double bed, wardrobe and a mini kitchen.
'Grandma's' pink van is the only caravan with a full kitchen and a sewing machine. Also has a closet and a bookcase.
The small van on the angle is the bathroom van and it is the only bathroom on the lot. It has a bathtub, toilet and basin/sink. All these items worked on the diagonal except the sink so I had to turn it away from the wall to be useable. A CC sink might work on the diagonal.
Outside
An empty field for horses or could be swapped out for driveway extensions and vehicles placed.
A campfire area with a BBQ
A fenced-in vegetable garden
A bubble blower tucked behind grandma's caravan.
Files
This consists of two files.
You only need one
The Romani Camp file comes with a CFE created roof
for those who prefer no CC at all.
Romani Camp CFE Roof Removed
Is the same lot without the CFE roof. This is so the Parsimonious caravan roof pieces can be easily used without fiddling around with CFE to remove the bent roofs.
Play tested with a copy.
Recommended CC
If you want to use double beds in the vans you will need the inaccessible beds mod.

Shelf bunks for extra sleeping spots.

I recommend a floor type mattress instead of a regular double bed.
