A town torn asunder by rivalries and feuds has left little room for any good news. Murders, magic, lovers and plots, if drama is what you seek Veronaville has quite a lot.

Have you played EA’s original Veronaville but wished there were more families, more storylines and that it was a little truer to the Shakespeare version? Me too, which is why I undertook the task of recreating Veronaville from scratch to bring you Veronaville 2.0! Overall this took about 3 months, not including time spent testing and fixing it up to be ModTheSims worthy!

Notes:
To install this neighborhood all you have to do is drop it into your EA Games/The Sims 2/Neighborhoods folder. The folder name of Veronaville 2.0 is N222, so make sure you don't already have a neighborhood named N222 before you add it. You will need the University Expansion as this hood comes with a University!

Since it's modeled after the original Veronaville, you shouldn't need a camera mod to view the main hood. The University Hood uses the same map as Takemizu Village, and also shouldn't need a camera mod except for "The Tempest" which is a nightclub I placed where the hidden lot in Takemizu would normally be that cannot be seen from the Neighborhood map without a camera mod.

I’ve run Hood Checker on the hood and it’s been cleaned, eliminated any and all traces of the Super Duper Hug Bug, used the Dresser Cleaner, and I ran the Mootilda’s Lot Compressor to reduce the file size.

I tried to keep the hood as empty as possible, but when I was taking out my mods to make sure the hood worked, I accidentally forgot to keep in the notownieregen mods when I loaded the hood... so a bunch of ugly townies and strays generated without me realizing it and I'd made too many changes to undo it. I changed their names in SimPE to give them more Shakespearean names but didn’t make any changes to them beyond that. I'm so sorry...

Every household should be synced to Sunday at 8:00 AM on the last day of Summer.

All the playable sims have memories, hobbies, interests, skills, aspiration benefits, etc. Hopefully, I didn’t go too overboard on skills and hobby enthusiasm but it’s an easy fix if you don’t like some of my choices. I tried to edit their starting wants… didn’t work out. Some of the sims' want trees might be a little wonky as a result. I’m also not skilled enough to write my own scripted events. Hopefully the story comes across well enough in the biographies, aspirations and relationships that it isn’t necessary. You can force the characters to follow the Shakespeare storylines or simply play them to see what happens on its own.

If anyone makes a Let’s Play of this hood you don’t need my permission, but I would love to watch it so it'd be great if you leave a comment to let me know when it's posted! :D

Hope you all enjoy!
