I present you my Ultimate Name Replacement Mod. Here's little back story. I've been using many name replacements mods in the past years but many of them don't replace all names (for example Miss Discordia's name replacements don't cover all names). So I decided to make my own mod that tracks down all horrible EA names and replaces them with something normal. I've used lists of most used names I found on the internet. The most popular names are used multiple times so they're more common.

This mod works with all in-game languages

This mod only affects newly generated/born sims, sims already found in your world won't be affected

Newly generated World Adventures Sims from France, China, Egypt won't be affected

Update 1 - please redownload
  • merged Pets and Sim name replacements into single file
  • added optional Plumbot name replacement

This mod replaces
  • 1000 male first names
  • 1000 female first names
  • 3100 last names
  • dogs, cats, horse, small pets names
  • Plumbots names

  • Lisa West, Emily Mansfield, Anna Bender, Lydia Martin...
  • Diego Field, Ryan Hood, Mason Lange, Robert Reed, Tate Warner...
  • Dogs - Belle, Beau, Toby, Buddy, Archie, Harley....
  • Cats - Maggie, Panther, Charlie, Stormy, Scratchy...
  • Horses - Storm, Duke, Ace, Shadow, Max, Maverick...
  • Small pets - Goldie, Skye, Tweety, Chipper, Nagini, Medusa...
  • Plumbots - PR1SM, Helix, X-360, Xenon, Vulkan, R2-D2, Bastion, GlaDOS... (I took inspiration from other video games like Detroit: Become Human, Fallout, Halo, Overwatch, Half-Life and world of computers like AMD, Nvidia, Intel, Microsoft, Apple...)

Installation
  • download ProtectusCZ_Names_Default_Replacement.zip if you want to replace Sim first names, last names and pet names (you can use this even without Pets installed)
  • download ProtectusCZ_Plumbots_Names_Default_Replacement.zip if you want to replace Plumbot names (requires Into the Future)
  • you can use both of them at same time, they're compatible with each other
  • unzip the .zip file and put .package file in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Mods > Packages
