There are some aspects that didn't age very gracefully in The Sims 3. One of them are headline effects so I decided to make upscaled version of the originals.

Version 3.1 Changes
  • fixed issue with some icons being too big to fit in the wish panel (again cause I discovered new ones)



This mod enhances
  • speech and thought bubbles icons
  • relationship gain/lose
  • memory icon
  • musical notes coming from radios, guitar, piano...
  • sleep effect - ZZZs (sim), VVVs (vampires), 0101s (simbots)
  • favorites (music, food, color) on the UI panel
  • trait icons that show up when you scold/praise a pet

This mod does not enhance the speech/thought bubble itself. You need Higher Quality Default Replacements for TS3 Headline Effects (Scream, Speech, and Thought Bubbles) by xiasimla. For the best experience use both mods cause they're compatible with each other.

It affects speech/thought bubbles from all expansion packs (but you don't need all expansion packs for this mod to work)

Installation
If you had old version of this mod, remove it
Unzip the .zip file and put the .package file into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Mods > Packages

This mod replaces over 2000 _IMG and IMAG files in
  • DeltaBuild0.package
  • DeltaBuild2.package
  • FullBuild0.package
  • FullBuild2.package
  • EPs/SPs FullBuildpXX.package files
