This mid-century cottage infuses the low-slung lines of Frank Lloyd Wright with Chinese details, packing premium design into a modest price.

I attempted to combine two distinct strains for this little project. The first and most obvious is Wright's post-war residential style, like the Seth Peterson Cottage I included in the gallery. The second, more subtle influence is the siheyuan courtyard house, which was once common in Beijing. Wright called his own style Usonian, so the 'Fusonian'-pun wrote itself.

Note: The fireplace is non-functional. To use it properly, delete the decorative arch in the living room.
