ABOUT
There are so many decorative plants in later packs, that have heinous shading issues, all because Maxis forgot that they are supposed to NOT include shadow LODs for such items, as the game uses the main detailed Model LOD to calculate shading. So yeah, they're wasting time making special shadow LODs for no reason, only for us to have to see rectangles of shadows around thin leaves
I went through every single deco plant (over 150+) to remove their shadow LODs so the game renders accurate shadows and ambient occlusions. You're welcome. If you don't have many packs, this should work just fine anyway.
