Hello and welcome!

This is my second attempt at recreating my old dollhouse which I had as a kid. The first one can be found here and just as I stated in that post, it was far from being my best creation, so this time I decided to switch to Sims 2 since I simply feel way more at ease and confident building there.

I also tried to stay as true to the dollhouse as I could instead of turning it into a gigantic, polished looking mansion like I did last time. One of the challenges was to create a color scheme that somewhat mirrored the original, which was tricky since the original colors are quite chaotic (which I guess is expectable of a kid's toy), plus I had to really step out of my comfort zone because most of my projects are usualy very color-coordinated, but in the end, I managed to make it work, and it actually turned out pretty nice.
I think this messy and unrefined style adds a lot of character and a lived-in feel to the place. It’s like the owners didn’t really care about matching everything perfectly or they just wanted to have some fun and mix in whatever they thought looked good.

The colors were also the reason I decided to go with the Bespoke Build Set by Honeywell. I feel like the Modern Georgian Manor Set by phoenix_phaerie might have fit the style better, but the Bespoke Set had color swatches that were super close to what I needed, so I opted for the colors over the style (though if you wanna switch to the Georgian Set on your own, I wouldn't blame you).

The build itself is a two story house, quite compact if not crampled even. Two bedrooms, made for a family of four, one bathroom.
My favorite feature of the house has to be the sun room, which is meant to pay tribute to the dollhouse with its open back.
There's also an attic filled with all sorts of things for your sims to have fun with, although I'm not sure if all of the space is useable due to some roofing issues.

The backyard, unlike the house, is spacious enough to accommodate a pool, a gardening area, and some hang out spots.

There's also a second structure, which serves as a two-car garage with an apartment on top. This building was purposely designed to appear as if it was a later addition to the property. I basically merged two ideas into one because I've been wanting to create something like this for a while, and I thought it would be a neat addition to give this little mansion some extra room.

The apartment itself is very spacious with the designs being much more organised than the main house's (which is something I'm more used to making) and can either be rented out to someone of used for those occations when some relatives are coming over.
Or you can make it into an art/craft studio or whatnot.

Overall it was a fun and interesting project to work on and despite it being a little chaotic, I like the way it turned out in the end.

The lot size is 50x40, the price is 203.757.
Fully furnished.

The only CC required is the said Bespoke Build Set and a Ladder with custom animations by marvine, both of which can be found in the CC Required section.
The cars aren't required nor included.

P.S. In case you're wondering, the name of the lot comes from an actual adress the original dollhouse had written on a sticker above its front door.

Have a nice one!
