Hello Simmers! I'm back again with another upload, and this time something new and special. I've built a glorious Greco-Roman style temple for Ganymede, the god of homosexuality and cup-bearer of the Gods. This Temple of Ganymede is not based on any real temples dedicated to him in antiquity, but rather one of my own design. I feel the gold, dark blue, and white colors suited him best. Many temples from this era were brightly colored, and only became completely white after years of weather and destruction worn off the paint and decorations. This is built in a real temple design type called the "Dipteral" which was used for many Doric temples in ancient times of worship. This design was often used for large temples, such as this one, with two rows of columns for support of the structure's roof, with the inner naos (cella) or the opisthodomos in the main building. The central room where the God statue would be displayed for worship and honor. I have placed an altar in front of the statue for Sims to give offers and their respects to this beautiful deity. Ganymede is personal to me, as are many of the Gods, and I plan to build more temples in the future. I hope everyone will like this project of mine! Thank you all for downloading!
