Hello Simmers! Today I bring to you another home build of mine called "The Arclight". As you know I often build homes in this style, and enjoy them. The Arclight was built in 1963, and is of my own design. It features a nice living room space when you first enter the home, in warm tones of brown, gold, and deep red. Following that, you enter the kitchen which gives way to a lush of pink, gold and white tones in Art Deco styling. There is an eating area just before the rear entrance to the patio and pool section adorned with decorative fish fountains and exotic terracotta tiling. The home features four bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and study space. This home is suited for adults living together, but any of the rooms can be adjusted or remodeled to your liking. The bedrooms have minimal furnishings for this reason. There is a long hallway that connects each of the rooms together, with enough space for a piano at the end of the hall, and a reading space by the windows. Each of the windows are done in Art Deco glass brick style, which was popular during that period. I find them very complimentary for the home's design well into the Mid-Century Modern era. They offer privacy and a balance of light. The home's exterior is done in stucco turquoise stone, with illuminated pillars for nighttime glow. The landscaping is light, giving a sense of sophistication and elegance without being overdone. Overall, I'm please with this build, and I hope you will be too! Thank you all for downloading!
