My summer vacation is almost over and soon I'll have to revert back to my studying duties. But before that, I've got something very special to share. Here comes a slightly megalomaniac project of mine, that I've been alternately working on and putting it off, for almost a year now. But right in this moment, as I'm happy with it, as it is, I decided to get rid of this "chimera" once and for all.
For those, who didn't recognise it from the screenshots or overlooked the title: Yes, it's an ancient Roman Villa. I love the antiquity and it's architecture overall. It's so smart, relaxing and harmonic. I didn't used any particular plans, just a few pictures from books. This ancient mansion has a few separate buildings, lot of courts, gardens, a spa and even it's own temple of Venus with a sacred pond.
The villa is partially furnished with a lot of furniture hopefully suitable to the period. It uses the biggest lot size and for those who'd like to move in, it costs about 450 000$. EP is required. I'm not sure about the playability of this lot, especially because of the game framerate, but at least it will look great in your neighborhood view.

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
