A second home for people with a budget.

I challenged myself to create a second home for a couple that has married and wants to have kids, but only has lets say $ 45000. The house I've made is priced at under $ 35000 and is not only 2 stories, but sits on a lot big enough for expanding the house to meet greater capacity. The house is a 2 Bedroom 2 Bath with 1 bath on each floor. The enterance hallway connects to both the living room on one side and the dining room on the other. There is a walkout to the back in the living room and a bathroom in there as well. The dining room is surrounded by parquet flooring and a beige carpet in the middle. The kitchen is mostly white and not to large as to take up the whole half of the house, but the right size as to let you put in all the nessicary equipment. The second floor is accessable from the living room. On the second floor youll find a large master suite and a second bedroom both of large proportion and both leading to a sharded bathroom. The enterance hall on this floor is simple wood and could hold a small couch if wanted. The outside shows that the enterance hall is enclosed and has a roof over it. The whole house has a flat roof with a concrete encirclement around the top. The yard has a few trees and a garden in the back.

I felt like a house that you could move into with a spouse after working for a while and not have to worry about hideous color schemes, difficult designs and poor placed doors, or beautiful design, but to make that affordable you could only build 3 rooms and roof 2 of them. I found a balance between subtle colors and a flowing design that links all the rooms together. I also made it so that the outside did't look like something from a frankenstien movie. So I made the outside with stone and walkways, not too simple but simple enough so as not to make the price of the house skyrocket to astronomical proportions. I kept it under $ 35000 and if you married together 2 people with $ 25000 youd have enough for the house and to decorate it with all the aminites of home. Plus the bedrooms are huge enough so if you need to divide them into boy and girl bedroooms, you don't have to worry about building a whole other attachment onto the house.
