Hi all,
Sick and tired of your sims being bitten by vampires when you don't want them to be ? Then meet Jack Skellington, Master of Vampires.
How does it work ?
As long as the file is present in your Sims 2 downloads directory, this hack will do two things.
1. It overrides the default behaviour and won't let NPC's be bitten as this has been proven to be very bad under certain circumstances. It will do this whether Jack has been placed on a lot or not as it overrides the default game behaviour elsewhere.
2. The other more important aspect is Jack himself. You can find him available for purchase in buy mode under misc/misc and you can place him on any lot.
How do I protect my sims ?
After buying Jack and placing him on a lot, just click him and you'll be given the option to 'Give garlic to...' any eligble sim on the lot. Want to give garlic to someone that isn't on the lot ? Choose 'Neighbourhood View..' and go find the sim that you want to give it to.
Who is an 'eligble sim' ?
Teen, YA, adult & elder sims that aren't vampires or NPC's, and don't already have garlic .
How can I get rid of the garlic once they have it ?
Once sims exist in the neighbourhood that have garlic, the next time you click on Jack you will see an additional option; 'Take garlic from...' that you can use to find the sim you want to take it from.
*Compatibility*
Please note this is not a complete list, and one this will surely evolve over time.
- Is not compatible with jfade's Vampire Biting Control (All 3 flavours) with the filenames djsdisabledvampirebiting, djsvampirebiteonlyres-lots & djsvampiresnobitenpcs.
- Is not compatible with the shaklin_vampkiss_more_interactions hack.
- Is compatible with jfade's Smart Coffin.
- Is compatible with carrigon's Daytime Vampire Hack
- Is compatible with exnem's Jack Skellington Plush Toy (both can exist simultaneously)

This hack is experimental. I have tried it and haven't found any issues, but it's time to see if it can stand up to some real world testing. Please post back to the thread if you have any issues.
