Custom Content
The mysterious chest in the attic, and all the science lab items along with their recolors come from Retail Sims http://www.retailsims.com/.
The Destiny painting by Waterhouse was created by me.
The rug mesh was created by Echo, WindKeeper, and Numenor.
All custom content and recolors not specified above come from Sims 2 Sisters http://www.sims2sisters.sme.sk/.
Summary
Sims in screenshots are not included. For this lot to work properly, you must have the Nightlife and Open For Business expansion packs installed. University is *not* required. You will also need to have the Color Enabler Package installed. The decor and furnishings of this castle are bright and pleasant, with one exception -- a secret science lab that can be accessed through a corridor hidden by a bookcase in the library. Prior to uploading this lot to the internet, I had some Sims (2 adults, 1 toddler/child/teen) live in the house for a few days. As far as I can tell, your Sims can move right into it without any tweaking.

-PRICE: 285,263
-FRONT YARD: Bushes lining the path to the main entrance. Some trees, bushes, and flowers have been planted on each side of the main entrance. One row of pine trees on the right side.
-BACK YARD: Yellow rose bushes, 2 water fountains surrounded by flowers, and a bench between them.
-DRIVEWAY: Long enough for 2 cars.
-1ST FLOOR: 5 hallways/corridors, 1 very large living room divided into 2 sections, 1 large bathroom, 1 kitchen, and 1 large dining room. All rooms on this floor are fully furnished and decorated.
-2ND FLOOR: 6 hallways/corridors, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and 1 large nursery w/ bed. When your toddler becomes a child, rather than moving them to a new room, you can convert the nursery to a child's bedroom by removing all of the baby items, then adding the armoire from up in the attic. All rooms on this floor are fully furnished and decorated.
-3RD FLOOR: 5 hallways/corridors, 1 large library, 1 small bedroom, 1 large master bedroom, and 1 bathroom. All rooms on this floor are fully furnished and decorated.
-4TH FLOOR: 1 attic (mostly unfurnished), and 1 science lab. Please note that in order to access the science lab, there is a bookcase in the library that must first be moved out of the way. A search on MTS2 will turn up some secret doors that you can install in its place if moving it becomes too much of a nuisance.
