Well at long last here is the Roof Truss system you have all been waiting for ...This was kinda requested and seconded and so on and so on ...All of the pieces in this collection were cloned from a simple pillar so they show up in build mode under columns ...I tried to find the simplest object i could to clone these from and this was it ...It only had 1 GMDC and 1 subset so it was perfect ....In order to use these on your roof you MUST use the moveObjects on cheat because these were cloned from a column that is suppose to sit on the ground ...That is the only drawback of this set but as i said before these were the perfect thing to clone to make these as easy as possible ....For those of you who do not know how to use moveObjects you must press and hold ctrl shift and the "c" key at the same time and the cheat window will pop up then you enter the cheat moveObjects on exactly as it is here .After you type that in the cheat box will close and you will be allowed to use these objects ..After you place them all just open the cheat window and type moveObjects off and presto your done !!!!!!!

All the trusses in this set pull their color from 1 main mesh and that is the rooftruss1 package and this MUST be in your downloads in order for the textures to display properly on all other trusses in this set ....

Well lets get to the pictures and details :

Here is a view of the first 3 sets to make 1 , 2 and 3 tile roof trusses :


In order to make the 1 tile truss you will need to use rooftruss-1 and rooftruss-2 ....In order to make the two tile truss you will need to use rooftruss1 and rooftruss2 ...In order to make the 3 tile you will need rooftruss1 rooftruss2 rooftruss1a and rooftruss2a ....The poly and vert count for these pieces is -1,-2:24,48 1,2:12,24 1a,2a:24,48 ....

Here is a picture of the 4 tile and 5 tile trusses :


In order to make the 4 tile truss you will need rooftruss1 rooftruss2 rooftruss3 and rooftruss4 ...In order to make the 5 tile truss you will need rooftruss1 rooftruss2 rooftruss3 rooftruss4 rooftruss3a and rooftruss4a ...The poly and vert count for the pieces not mentioned above are 3a,4a:38,76

Here is the picture of the 6 tile truss :


In order to make this 6 tile truss you will need rooftruss1 rooftruss2 rooftruss3 rooftruss4 rooftruss5a and rooftruss6a ..The poly and vert count for the pieces not mentioned above are 5a,6a:48,96

Here is the picture of the 7 tile roof truss :


In order to make this 7 tile roof truss you will need rooftruss1 rooftruss2 rooftruss3 rooftruss4 rooftruss5b rooftruss6b rooftruss5c and rooftruss6c...The poly and vert count for the pieces not mentioned above are 5b,6b:36,72 and 5c,6c:50,100

Here is a picture of the 8 tile roof truss :


In order to make this 8 tile roof truss you will need rooftruss1 rooftruss2 rooftruss3 rooftruss4 rooftruss5 rooftruss6 rooftruss7 and rooftruss8 ...The poly and vert count for the pieces not mentioned above are 5,6:24,48 and 7,8:48,96

Here is a picture of the 9 tile roof truss:


In order to make this 9 tile roof truss you will need rooftruss1 rooftruss2 rooftruss3 rooftruss4 rooftruss5b rooftruss6b rooftruss7a rooftruss8a rooftruss7b and rooftruss8b ...The poly and vert count for the pieces not mentioned above are 7a,8a:38,76 and 7b,8b:70,140

And last but certainly not least is the whopping 10 tile wide roof truss :


In order to make this monster you will need rooftruss1 rooftruss2 rooftruss3 rooftruss4 rooftruss5b rooftruss6b rooftruss7a rooftruss8a rooftruss9 and rooftruss10...The poly vert count for the pieces not mentioned above are 9,10:46,92 ....

And of course feel free to experiment and see what you can come up with as i am sure there are endless possibilities with this many pieces ....

I have uploaded MANY different .rar's but they are grouped together as sets and i have also uploaded a COMPLETE roof truss .rar so if you have something in mind that you only want to make once download the appropriate rars as they are all marked by truss # ....even the package file names are number in a way you can tell which trusses you have !!!!!

Please DO NOT upload these to any other site !!!!!!I have worked very hard on making these work and work right and i do not want to see that work get credited to someone else .....as before with the rest of my construction stuff you can recolor this if you want but there really is no point as said before wood is pretty much wood and doesnt come in a whole lot of colors..You can also feel free to use these in house uploads but make sure credit is givin to me for the meshes ....If you do recolor do not include the mesh ..You must link back to this thread for the meshes .....

This is just 2 pieces of my upcomming Siding Construction Subset of my construction project ...The first piece is a sawhorse and the second piece in the pic are what are called Pump Jacks and they are used in place of ladders for installing siding .....This set should be completed within the next week or so as I have been working everyday on it since for some reason no matter how hard i try i cant download anything from here .....
