500 Dogwood Drive (Furnished/Unfurnished Versions)

With this upload, I wanted to do something a little different. Previously, my uploads have featured my favorite “Build Mode” items by some very talented creators. However, with this lot, I also wanted to share with you some of my favorite items from “Buy Mode” by some equally inspiring creators!

They say the heart of the home is the kitchen, and this upload features my favorite download by phoenix_phaerie: The Tuscan Kitchen. I’ve also included one recolor of the Tuscan Kitchen by luslipz73. The kitchen opens into the dining room, which also features more of the Tuscan Kitchen Collection, has a large table with seating for four, a beautiful china cabinet, and French doors leading out onto the back porch.

The living room is very comfy-casual, with furnishing that come from Holy Simoly. The mesh is included in the furnished .rar file, as well as the recolor. The living room is large with ample seating, plenty of room for kids, pets, and neighbors - and features a big screen TV.

Other first floor features include a furnished office, a laundry room, and one of my favorite features: A first floor master suite and large master bath. The master bedroom has been decorated by Frances at Caravan Shop Sims2 (**See Note Below**), and has his-and-hers closets, and an attached master bath which features a corner whirlpool tub by Mickyss.

Upstairs, there are two large sized bedrooms, both with double beds, and another full bathroom. As always, the house has been decorated with neutral colors by Nephilis, and the yard has been well-landscaped already with a lot of help from 4ESF, and Khakidoo. (**Recolors omitted from this download to cut down on the file size, but they can be found here: Khakidoo's Shrubby Recolors). Lastly, there is still plenty of room in the backyard for your Sims to expand their family and add more rooms, a pool, garden, or greenhouse.

This lot also features some custom rugs from Suza at Simply Styling, Edward Hopper Paintings by larsson1970, and some bedding recolors by Ryazan.



Custom Content Not Included Due to Creator Policies:

Some of the content of this lot comes from Frances at Caravan Shop Sims2. This is a free site, which also doesn't require membership. In this lot, I've used items from the Arcan Collection. You can find items from the Arcan Bedroom, Dining Room and Living Room here. (The Mesh used for some of the rugs is also found at this site). If you like this collection, there is a recolor of the bedroom here at MTS by OpenHouseJack.

In this lot, I've also used some paintings from Sims 2 Play. The redistribution policy at this site is a little vague, and our MTS Creator Policy Wiki isn't sure either. So, better safe than sorry, I've removed this custom content from my upload, but the paintings can be found here on pgs 4, 5 & 7. Finally, the hanging lamp in the upstairs bathroom is not included. It is from one of my (new) favorite sim sites, Raonjenasims2. It can be found here.
