For my first upload, here is Chateau de Moulinsart (Marlinspike Hall in the english version), the belgian chateau owned by Captain Haddock in the comic book series The Adventures of Tintin. It was drawn by Herge, and based on the central part of the Chateau de Cheverny, shown in this image in both forms:

My version is a 4.1 (!) story building, with a basement, 3 main floors and an attic room:
Basement
Kitchen
Guest Toilet
Servant's Quarters
Study (with a door to Butler's bedroom because I thought it should be his study, but if you like you could remove that and leave it as a study for the owner)
Ground Floor
Main Hallway
Dining Room
Drawing Room
First Floor
Master Bedroom with dressing room
Bedrooms 2 and 3
all with private ensuites
Second Floor
Empty to allow your own customisation, maybe an entertainment room for kids, or perhaps Le Comte de Moulinsart's art collection...
Attic Room
Tiny room for use as you see fit, I've put a desk, computer and bookcases, you may prefer an easel for the comtesse
I advise that you lock all the doors except the external and guest toilet ones, to stop guests wandering, they should really be limited to the ground floor and that toilet.
The house is furnished with all the luxurious essentials, but to keep the cost down there is no artwork, which is necessary to maintain the grandeur of this magnificent building.
I also recommend that if you have Nightlife and/or Apartments, you download these:

http://www.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=303282 - invisible helipad by TreZillah (a helicopter fits nicely on the gravel in front of the house, but also where the trees are would be good spots for one)
and the Bentley Turbo-R, Rolls-Royce Phantom or equivalent cars off sims2carsource.net, they look great parked on the second driveway extension from the road.

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
