Down Syndrome Beautiful - Risa Carpenter

One of my closest and dearest friends has Down syndrome, and so this is in spirit of her. She's a beautiful person inside and out, regardless of her "disability." My point of making a sim like this is to better represent humanity for myself and other users who are interested.

Not to make any assumptions about people, but I just want state that any offensive or discriminate comments made to this download thread are not welcomed and will be reported. So please make sure, if you leave feedback, you are not using any potty mouths. Thanks.

Anyway...on to my sim.



Alright, here she is folks. My purpose for this sim is to show that Down syndrome is beautiful, because it's human. I originally had this posted in the CFF and the comments came pouring in from users who have family members, friends, family members of friends, or just know someone on an intimate basis with Down syndrome and were so glad to see their loved ones being represented. I am bringing this sim to you all for the people who know someone and has someone close to them who has DS. I hope you find this sim to represent your loved ones nicely. I'm so glad that I can make a small difference in your lives through means of presenting this sim to you.


Okay, her name is Risa (pronounced REE-SAH) Carpenter, she's a young adult, and her lifetime wish is to become super popular. (feel free to edit this as you wish for your own games, of course!)

And the custom content I used...first and foremost, the Rick&Delphy slider hack! it's important especially to those of you know want to edit her to resemble more someone you know and love. I'm using the replacement skin by aikea, though she looks good with all the other skins as well, I've tested it, but also without a replacement skin! Her eyes are the psyche set by icedmango, the hair is by newsea. Her make up is by Papercat, eyeshadow and eyeliner. Also, I didn't include a pic, but I used this hair by XMSims for her formal wear.
