Jedi Order Career

Okay so here's a super shiny Jedi Order career :D

Twallan's Careers Mod is needed to use this career.

*UPDATED*
16/08/16 ~ I've updated the career to include a Compliment Master tone (to build relationship with the boss) so this should solve that issue. I've also enabled the career for the Future world.

You only need the Base Game to use this career, but it will work with any Expansion and Stuff packs installed. It was made with Patch level 1.57, though it should work with any patch level above or below this. This career is based in the Military Base. It's got 10 levels and involves Athletic and Logic skills. It has uniforms for all levels.

There are no opportunities, and uses 2 custom tones; Strength training, which boosts the Athletic skill, and Play with the force, which boosts the Logic skill.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, this career won't
overwrite any existing careers. Which means that when you click on the Military Base, you can join the Military career and the Jedi Order.

Career levels and descriptions

The wages are rather high, but then again this is a fantasy career. Expect your Sims to get rich quickly!

1. Youngling ~ Welcome to the Jedi Order. You have no knowledge of the Force, and you have to rely on really tall people to tell you what the heck is going on. Ah well. It's all in the job. Defending the universe and all that.

2. Initiate ~ A step up from Youngling, although you still don't have much of a clue about what you're doing or why you're here. Just follow instructions and try not to do anything stupid.

3. Padawan ~ Okay, so you lasted this long. Not bad. Now you get to have one-on-one training with your Master. Sound fun? And the best part is, you get to use one of those shiny laser sword things!

4. Apprentice ~ You have no new responsibilities, and no new jobs to do. You still have your super shiny lightsaber that you can cuddle and have deep conversations with. Just enjoy your pay rise!

5. Knight ~ It's the big day! You've had your training and you've passed your Jedi trials, and now you are officially a Jedi Knight! You get to run around the galaxy, keeping the peace and all that. Maybe you'll get to kick some Sith ass too! Though I doubt it. Siths are a big job. Enjoy your new title, and the pay rise that comes with it.

6. Master ~ You've mastered your emotions, trained a few Padawans and even chopped up a few of the Sith. That's right, you've been promoted to the rank of Master! You now have much more power and many Jedi respect you. Not to mention a nice little pay rise. Keep up the good work!

7. Grand Master ~ Proud, you must be. For Grand Master, you are! You're the only one in the universe, and the undisputed leader of the Jedi Order, you are. Enjoy your new importance, you must. As well as a hefty pay rise!

8. Master of the Order ~ Congratulations! You've been elected (by democratic vote, or bribes, whatever) as the Master of the Jedi High Council! You're wise, you're powerful, and you're not that bad with a lightsaber, either!

9. Yoda ~ The one and only! YODA! Short, you are. But wise and strong, too. You get to have your lightsaber re-coloured (now you get an awesome green one!), and you can beat up pretty much any Sith you like, when you like. Good to be Yoda, it is.

10. Ultra Super Epic Yoda ~ Congratulations, Yoda! You won the Republic's annual bingo competition and as a result you've been promoted to Ultra Super Epic Yoda! You're the boss of the entire Jedi Order, the highest rank achievable! And forget the large pay rise, you must not. Hip hip, hooray! Hip hip, hooray! Hip hip, hooray!

Translating
The language strings have been included on the downloads tab for anyone who wants to include translations.
To translate, download the Language_Strings file and open it up in Notepad.

Install Instructions

Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Files^wiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).


Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
