Do your Renaissance Sims need to 'fit in' with the modern world? Is a castle a bit much for your budget? Try this charming Tudor-esque suburban home. The garage is subtly located underground, the exterior design is reminiscent of a simpler time, but the home's layout it definitely set for modern convenience. The basement-garage offers a terrific solution for merging the old world and the new. For your own visual aesthetics, you can store your modern car underground and out of sight. Or, you can protect the neighbor's sanity by hiding your cart wagon away from thier prying eyes.

I built this house with the aide of Numenor's AGS (what a wonderful tool!) It needs NL, OFB, and M&G installed in order to work properly. I also used Hexameter's basement garage template - which sure made the garage easy to build! Thanks! The files have been thoroughly cleaned with the Clean Installer. There are two files to download - yes, you need both of them. One file is just the lot; the other is all the CC.

This house is NOT built on a level lot - it has a "dip" along the front sidewalk. Please refer to the picture below to see what I mean. Sometimes uneven lots can mess up your neighborhood. So, please back up your neighborhood before installing anything. I did many tests on this property because the dip puzzeled me. In my game, there is always a dip on one axis of that intersection. If I remove my Tudor-esque house and replace it with an empty lot - I get the dip on the perpendicular road. If I place a flat lot on the perpendicular road, I get the dip back here again. There doesn't seem to be any lasting effects - if I delete the house, I can build another lot/house without any cracks to the nether-world appearing. I have since moved this lot closer to the 'ocean' in my game, and have had no troubles at all.
