With a decidedly modern design and vibrant colors, One Mars Plaza stands in sharp contrast to the gray steel and poured concrete of other skyscrapers. Whether your Sim is looking for the top-of-the-world feel of a luxury penthouse, or a more down-to-earth apartment for the young urban professional, this apartment aims to provide them with a space perfect for those aspirations.

The penthouse has sweeping views of the cityscape outside the floor-to-ceiling windows of every floor, and a rooftop lounge area perfect for high-society functions. A two-story living room gives your wealthy Sims a feeling of open space that is often lacking in a downtown apartment, and maintains a minimalist aesthetic perfect for a Sim who doesn't need to surround themselves with unnecessary clutter to prove that they're rich. They'll still need to pay up for that lifestyle though... The penthouse checks in at more than $6000 per week!

The penthouse kitchen has top-of-the-line appliances that your household staff will appreciate, and a formal dining area done in the same rich shades of red as the rest of the building conveys a sense of opulence while your Sims enjoy their perfectly cooked Lobster Thermidor and Baked Alaska (or enjoys an after-dinner glass of nectar with that Professional Party guest they picked up at the club! ).

On the lower stories of this building, you'll find a series of well-appointed one-bedroom apartments designed to provide a Sim with the basics they need for a downtown lifestyle as they work their way up the corporate ladder. Starting at $1374, they may be out of reach of the urban poor, but they're still easily affordable for a Sim working their way to the top! These apartments may be small, but with spectacular views of the Downtown skyline out every window, even the least expensive apartment will make your Sims feel like they have their own penthouse.

The penthouse balcony and the small courtyard at the base are both adorned with palm trees, and a series of decorative pools surrounds the tower. A series of fins surround the tower (and provide shade for Sims enjoying the rooftop patio), as well as giving it a distinct silhouette on your skyline. Clean white walls, palm fronds, and a cool marble lobby give it a perfect vibe for a desert or tropical neighborhood, or for bringing a little bit of those warmer places into a downtown that's growing too rundown or industrial.
There is no custom content required for this building.
As with any skyscraper, this lot is much larger than most 2X2 lots would be, so a slower computer may lag slightly when playing it, and the camera can be tricky to position on the uppermost floors. Still, it's absolutely playable, and when placed in the middle of a Downtown crowded with other skyscrapers and towers, the views from the penthouse are to die for! (and then challenge the Grim Reaper so you can keep up that lifestyle!) No modern Downtown should be without buildings like this.
