Mod Description

With Generations, your sims could make potions on the chemistry set and mix them into "mysterious drinks" for other sims to drink, but there was no way to get a specific sim to actually drink it unless you directed them to which you can't with inactives. Apparently we are expected to just leave the "mysterious" drink out in the open and wait and hope for a sim to eventually come up and drink it, but there's never any guarantee of it happening (Ironically the only time I've seen it happen was while I was testing this mod). Hence this mod, that adds a Bring Potion To... interaction to these mysterious drinks that lets your sims hand potions directly to a targeted sim to drink.


Details

The new Bring Potion To... interaction will appear on Generations chemistry set potions (potions from Supernatural and the store are not affected) AFTER they are turned into "mysterious drinks" via the "Mix into drink" interaction. Note that only sims with a Logic Skill of 5 and above can mix potions into drinks by default, but any sim aged child and above can bring the resulting drink to another sim. Also the interaction is user directed ONLY so sims cannot autonomously perform it.

In addition, since I felt that the many of the original effects of the potions alone didn't really warrant them being used on other sims (like those that only provided a moodlet but that the sim wouldn't know to take advantage of) the mod will add the following extra effects to the the sim that receives the potion:

Sleeping ElixirGives the "Turbo Sleep" moodlet. Makes energy increase faster while sleeping and prevents being woken up by any noiseSim will pass out and sleep after drinking
  • When a sim brings a potion marked (*) to another sim to drink, it will be considered a prank and the sim who drinks it may be pushed to yell/ argue/scold/punish the sim who brought them the drink (regardless of who it was that made the potion or mixed it into the drink in the first place)
  • The mod allows sims to mix the Age Freeze (Lifetime reward) potion into a drink as well..
  • A sim who is brought a Mood Enhancer, Age Freeze, Young Again potion to drink will thank the sim who brought it to them after drinking it.
  • The Ninja Vanish, Imaginary Friend Metamorphium and Ghost potions cannot be mixed into drinks so are not affected by this mod.
