Secret Vampire Island

Since my last lot was also an island supernatural lot, it wasn't too far of a leap for me to think of a similar (well... sorta) lot for vampires. Vampires need something more gloomy though, and vampires like to party. They like it dark!

So yes, that is also why the water is so bright and island-y, so different from a dark water usually associated with vampires. But, as with my last lot, this is made to fit in any neighborhood that doesn't usually fit fantasy lots. The world I'm playing in is an island world, a world usually void of the dark.But when you place the island far from the home world, it doesn't have to be so out of place, because it's barely in the 'place' at all. It's a mystery place to most sims.


As you can see, I uploaded and pictured a second lot... I wanted this lot to be very hilly, but I still wanted it to be playable, so I toned down the rocky terrain more than I wanted to. To keep the playability but keep the look, I added a second lot behind the main lot with more rocky terrain. You can of course choose to download that or not, but if you have room in your town's ocean, maybe you want it. It looks a bit odd from a birds-eye view, but you won't see that often in game play. The lot size for the back lot is 20X30.

And also as you can see, I made the actual 'house' as a library. Consider this an extra hiding place for where the real action is- the club underground. I have it hidden behind a bookcase, but other sims don't really have access to it, so I had to take it out, sadly.

The second floor basement is a bonus... I added some bedrooms. If you have a large household of vampires, or some vamp townies need a quick nap, this is where to go. Two of the bedrooms are very ordinary. There is another fancy one meant for a five star celeb vamp. He can take his lady friend to woohoo there or whatever . There also is a grave 'shrine' (as there are a few in the other rooms too). Consider this what you will (but note they are not graves with actual sims in them, you can add your own if you like).


As for what to classify this lot... I have it considered 'visitors allowed'. You could place it as vampire lounge, but then you could only use the library part when the vamp lounge is open, which isn't for that long. Change it if you'd like.

*NOTES*

*I placed two skip floor level markers on the lot from buydebug. I put it for the 'third floor' under the roof so you wouldn't have to go down from that, and in the foundation.
*The room in the middle on the main basement floor, behind the LLAMA room, is an empty room. I placed it so you wouldn't see the second floor basement
*I don't advise changing the lot too much terrain-wise unless you want to paint over it again. Moving the terrain on islands exposes the default terrain underneath until you paint back over it. Which doesn't look right with most terrain paints, take my word for it.
*If you want to lower the restrictions for the fancy celeb room, you shift-control click on it and adjust some of the settings, or of course you can delete it completely.
*To place this lot, just put a 64X64 lot in the water, preferably far from your world
*To place the small lot, go nearly as close as you can go to the larger lot- but not just as it turns green or it won't place

Thanks to Yogi-Tea for the small elevator shaft too! Foundations look so good on houses, but I also wanted to use an elevator, so with this I get both at once.
