The Jiangzhe Dog（Chinese writing：“中华田园犬江浙品系”，简称苏犬） is a type of Chinese rural dog, mostly found in the eastern coastal provinces of China.
They are one of the most familiar dogs to me. (Others are probably Pekingese and their mixed breeds.) However, in recent years, foreign dog breeds have become popular around me, such as Golden Retrievers and Corgis. Original Chinese rural dogs are becoming increasingly rare.
Chinese rural dogs are often healthy, with an alert and independent personality. But this is not always the case—individual dogs can vary greatly.
