This is a group of different 1x1 starter lots designed for single sims (and/or couples). It is uploaded by request, but I built each one of the houses for personal use. I challenged myself to make them, because nice starters under $20,000 were really lacking in my game. I hope this pack will be useful for some of you guys too.

I always wanna play in a detailed, carefully decorated house, even at the very beginning. I also like variety, not starring at the same cheep furniture with bland layout every time my new sim starts a life. Until he/she earns enough money to buy a nicer house, my own environment bar is dangerously low . So this time I used Pescado's Magic Wand to lower the price of the lots. Basically, what this mod does is to depreciate the house straight from build/buy mode. Aging of the lot is faked, so you could purchase a cheap but still nice and fully decorated house, without sims previously living in it (and leaving their references to corrupt the lot for future uses). Budget for a starter house is very tight and it is really hard to decorate it while avoiding the same furniture. This mod allowed me to try different architectural styles and playstyles, because I could use even expensive objects and make the most of build/buy items before reaching $20,000. Some of you may find this way too cheaty, but I personally don't mind my sims starting their life in a decent "second hand" home.

These houses are tiny, cramped, cluttered, with sometimes usable space being sacrificed in favor of décor and structure complexity, so they are not meant for sims who regularly throw big parties and have a bunch of guests. I did not test such scenario, but I'd expect it to cause routing issues. That being said, all lots are playtested and every functional object should be accessible and usable. Have in mind that I always use a lot of cheats and off grid placements, so certain objects may not function upon moving. For those who would like to furnish the houses themselves, I also included the unfurnished versions.

All lots are CC free. Gameplay objects not available in build/buy mode, are made buyable via mods. You don't need to have any of those mods installed for the objects to function. I tested each lot in vanilla game and everything works just fine.

There are many, many pictures, so if you are interested in only one specific lot and don't want to watch the entire slide show, use Open thumbnail gallery button and scroll down the pictures to the desired house.

1) Tiny Modern Starter House
  • Lot Price (furnished): §19,998
  • Lot Price (unfurnished): §15,558
- Features: 1 bedroom (double bed); 1 bathroom; all basic fixtures and furniture (including smoke alarm, burglar alarm, phone, computer,TV, music); at least five skilling objects, modern / contemporary design and decorations
- Plumbing, appliances and some electronics are replaced after depreciation, so they won't break easily (the house functions as it looks like - new and modern)
- Playtested with two sims (a couple)

2) Tiny Victorian Starter House (beige-white / light pastel)
  • Lot Price (furnished): §19,981
  • Lot Price (unfurnished) : §13,693
- Features: 1 bedroom (single bed); 1 bathroom; all basic fixtures and furniture (including smoke alarm, phone, computer, TV); at least four skilling objects, a dog house, victorian / vintage / colonial style design and décor (exterior: beige-white, interior: light pastel colors with white and a little bit of light wood)
- Playtested with a single sim and his dog (the dog has all necessities and can use all pet objects, but unfortunately, the backyard is too small for the dog to run around and play freely; I felt sad watching the dog living in such a small space)

3) Tiny Victorian Starter House (grey-white / dark wood)
  • Lot Price (furnished): §20,000
  • Lot Price (unfurnished): §13,025
- Features: 1 bedroom (single bed); 1 bathroom; all basic fixtures and furniture (including smoke alarm, phone, computer, TV); at least five skilling objects, a dog house, victorian / vintage/ colonial style design and décor (exterior: grey-white, interior: dark wood with bordeaux and pops of gold)
- Playtested with a single sim (didn't get a dog this time, I guess it would be the same as above)

4) Tiny Spooky Starter - Mausoleum
  • Lot Price (furnished): §19,999
  • Lot Price (unfurnished): §14,550
- Features: 1 bedroom (double bed + vampire coffin); 1 bathroom; most basic fixtures and furniture (including phone, computer, TV; no smoke alarm); at least four skilling objects, a coffin, Resurrect-O-Nomitron, spooky / supernatural / gothic style design and décor
- Playtested with two sims

5) Tiny Country Starter House

  • Lot Price (unfurnished): §9,417

- Playtested with a couple and their baby (baby aged to toddler, no issues)

6) Tiny Medieval Starter House
  • Lot Price (furnished): §19,996
  • Lot Price (unfurnished): §11,890
- Features: 1 bedroom (double bed); medieval styled bath area; outhouse; fireplace; some basic fixtures and furniture (it has a phone, but doesn't have a smoke alarm, computer, TV, or anything that would feel out of place and make the style too inconsistent); has at least five skilling objects, an axe throwing station, fantasy medieval / Tudor design and decorations
- Playtested with a single sim

As always, sorry for possible grammar/spelling/stylistic/linguistic mistakes (or is it errors? ).
