The fifth house in my "1920s Series" - inspired by 62 Beautiful Vintage Home Designs from the 1920s - is designed with four large bedrooms (two could be Master bedrooms), a huge living room, dining room, spacious kitchen, side porch, basement, carriage house style garage... and one bathroom. There truly is a lot of extra space in this house - it would've been easy to add at least a powder room downstairs, but I resisted. As I said in the first house of my 1920s Series:
My plan is to recreate these "original, authentic, un-modified, 1920s floor plans" as accurately as possible within the constraints of the TS2 game mechanics. There is no way to do this completely CC-free, but CC will be kept to a minimum - and only necessary build-mode items will be used. Most of these houses will be on small 2X2 lots, most will have basements, and most will have only one bathroom *gulp* (That is the way they were designed! It's [having one plumbed indoor bathroom is] much nicer than the alternative - running to the outhouse at 2am...)

Of interesting architectural note in this house is the split-stairway. If you look at the original plan (NB: The second story of the original plan is rotated a quarter turn, the stairs should line up with the stairs.) You see that from the stairway landing one can either go to the kitchen or to the living room... with the basement stairs running underneath the main ones. The only deviation I had to make in realizing this floorplan was in the basement stairs - because of the TS2 foundation wall, I had to set them back a tile. So, instead of entering the basement from the kitchen as originally planned, one enters from the dining room. (I could've added CC, to hide the foundation mess, but decided against that.)

This rather large house is minimally furnished with a bed, nightstand/alarm clock, wardrobe, dining table, and couch. Appliances, plumbing, and lighting are included. The telephone is on the wall in the kitchen. The front door is burglar alarmed. The range and fireplace have smoke alarms. Please scroll through all the above pictures to see everything this house has to offer.

This is a clean copy of this house/lot; no sim has ever lived here. The package has been cleaned with Mootilda's Clean Installer.
Pictures were taken with Invisible Fire Alarms in place, but the lot is packaged without that mod. So, you will see the fire alarm over the range in the kitchen, and the fireplace in the living room.
Pictures were also taken with the Invisible Driveway, but the lot is not packaged with it.
I highly recommend both invisifying options! .

CC list - used but NOT included - so, GO get it:
- Lifestyle Build Bundle - It's the second link in the top post - extracted from Lifestyle Stories by Argon @ MATY. Many of the wallpapers used in this 1920s series comes from this bundle.
- Roof Supports by MustLuvCatz - you will need the MASTER part of this set, or it will be missing textures and flash blue when you load the lot.
- Nook Folly Garden Set by Buggy Booz
(I would've included my copy, but I 'collectified' mine - so you'd never find it in your catalog!) You will need:
MASTER file - BuggyBooz - stair covers/brick
BB Nook Folly Garden Step Cover
BB Nook Folly Garden Step Cover - rounded Step shelf
BB Nook Folly Garden Step Cover - rounded Step shelf leftside

...and I highly recommend getting:
- Invisible Smoke Alarm by pfish @ MTS2

Standard mods I use that are not necessary nor included - but were probably used whilst building/photo-ing/prepping this house for upload...
I use Moi's Roof Shader for brighter roofs
Maranatah's White Wall Top texture replacement
Moo's Turn On/Off Lights
Menaceman's Lunatech Lighting Fix
BeosBoxBoy's no-red-pause-mod
Nopke's Go Under Spiral Stairs mod for proper spiral stair usage
And, of course, everyone needs Numenor's CEP and SEP!
I also use FRAPs to take in-game pictures, and PhotoShop to clean/collage said pictures.
And, I highly recommend using gummilutt's Invisible Medicine Cabinet to add features to any mirror - as per her policy, it's not used or included in this lot.
