Far out! Can you dig it? This swanky 1960s contemporary ranch likes to let its freak flag fly. The ultra-colorful pastels and florals will send you into the wayback machine. Heavy, man!




So, uh... I've had a lot of free time on my hands, as you can tell by my upload splurge. I'm nearly finished building out my billionth custom, from-scratch neighborhood. Maybe I'll keep this one for good instead of deleting everything? All I can say is, Mary Gavigan had a lot of affairs that resulted in a lot of pregnancies. Meanwhile, when I'm not ruining sims' lives, I'm building constantly.






This is a floor plan I've saved on my phone for a few years and just got around to building. It is a nice example of the quintessential 1960s suburban ranch, complete with brick, stone, woodwork, and low-pitched roof. The gables are open above the front door and side patio. I decided to have fun with decorating this home by choosing a wallpaper for every (furnished) room and using some crazy colors in the front living space. I enjoy the dichotomy of the back living spaces - the kitchen and family room - being a more natural and rustic look. I think both were popular in this era.




Enjoy and - please - leave the 60s slang at the front door.
