We assumed the payments for $500 and the payments were $85 a month and we were not sure we could afford it. We moved from a furnished apartment with 2 bedrooms, living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen and a one car garage for which we paid $83 a month. Yes, this was a while ago.
The house was worth $10,500 unfurnished when we bought it, but in Sims 2 it cost $32,558 fully furnished.
It was built in Sims 2 without any downloads or hacks.
