The Hobby Pot -Community Crafting

This is a hobby lot to go with gummilutt's new mod: Autonomous crafting stations.

Here your sims can craft flowers, toys, robots, sewing and pottery.

Yes, you can still use this lot without the mod, but the mod means townies and any other non controlled playable sims will arrive and use the crafting stations autonomously. Sims won't just drink coffee and play silly games inside but will actually go and craft items. You don't need to direct them or choose anything for them either, they will do everything by themselves making the lot feel more alive.


I gave sims some other things to do including reading, chess, a small shopping area where they can buy magazines and even buy hobby magazines if you use a mod for that. (listed below)

This lot is child and toddler friendly in that there are potties and change tables upstairs as well as a children's play room as unfortunately child age sims can't use crafting stations. NixNivus made a children's pottery wheel if you would like to add that.

Without this you will see the ugly brown counter of this item glitching through the white counters. Worth having for any lot.

4. The Shiny Time NPC Everywhere Patch This will make a cafeteria worker spawn (after a couple of sim hours) and start cooking just like they do on a dorm. There is a fridge and a microwave as well but this is a handy mod.

5. Pottery Table for Kids by NixNivis https://nixedsims.blog/2015/05/23/p...table-for-kids/

4. Lamare's Shiftable Everything Mod https://modthesims.info/d/670142/sh...p-and-down.html Because this lot was built using this mod it will probably require it to keep deco items in place.

CFE was used on the building sign.
Play tested on a copy.

Note* Even with Lamar's mod in, teddy bears on any type of shelf have a wish to randomly jump off, they may even be found floating outside in mid air. Don't ask me why sims 2 teddy bears have a death wish, it happens even without mods.
