From all of the accessories made for "The Sims 2" I think I like "Mansion & Garden Stuff" the most, because it gives a lot of objects to make beautiful architecture of the houses.

"The Now & Then Century Manor" from The Sims 3: Store is one of the best and most detailed lots made by 'Electronic Arts' in my opinion.
Honestly I have to admit that I forgot about this lot, but when I saw it a while ago I thought that I could remake it in "The Sims 2". I'm sure that EA made this house with the stuff it adds to the third game based on "Mansion & Garden Stuff" from "The Sims 2".

I'm not planning of making this house in the abandoned version because TS2 does not have items like that to make it as climatic as TS3 did. What you will find in this upload is a recreated and a little renovated version of the then version of this house made in "The Sims 2".

What I love about this house is that the whole atmosphere of this lot gives me the vibes of old money, fancy and expensive interiors filled with expensive furnitures and paintings for rich people to live in. I also have to mention that floors are stunning in this house in details! I like the style of the floors in the whole house because they are wooden and carved all over the place. I tried to recreate that in "The Sims 2" and I think I was pretty successful with that.
At first I had an idea to simply recreate the house from TS3 to TS2, but in the process I started to add more details, objects and my own ideas to the place to make it even more beautiful. I'm happy how the kitchen, dining and lving room turned out. The small library is just perfect for this house. I just don't understand why is the entrence to the library from the kitchen? 😂 Anyway, the house from TS3 has a turret in front of it. I don't have an object like that in TS2, because I don't use custom content, so I had to simply build it. I didn't know what to do with this additional space, but I figured out that I can put there secret treasures gained through the years of traveling. I didn't want to put much stuff in the attic because I didn't want to make this house more expensive than it should be and also I didn't want to crowd the place for no reason. This is the type of the house that I like more inside than the outside. From the outside I like the back of the house better than the front. I like interiors more because they feel like they are more detailed. I also had to use my own ideas in the garden, since TS3 has different style of hedges than TS2 has and I wanted to make the garden more beautiful from TS3 version, but I still tried to recreate it in scale. The garden has 6 points of entry and it has sense in TS3 where we have the whole open world, but it doesn't have sense in TS2. I wanted to keep that shape of the garden anyway. I also really like how I was able to connect roof pieces from the "Mansion & Garden Stuff" with regular roofs to get that spectacular look.

I'm really happy with what I created because I feel like I succeeded in recreating it from TS3 into TS2 and I was also able to improve the whole lot with my ideas!

Lot description:
"Take a stroll through history with the stunning architecture of Century Manor! This breathtaking mansion shows the grandeur of Second Empire design in all of its colonial glory and again as it stands against the rigors of time."

Mods I recommend to use with this lot:
(They are not needed, but that might help with proper working of things on this lot or with gameplay.)

- Shiftible Everything (I used this mod a lot to make this lot detailed. Having it in your 'Downloads' folder might help with proper work of furniture on this lot.)

- Perfect Plants (Some of the plants in garden are set on cheats and your sims may have problems to get to them to care or those plants.)

- Watch TV from all chairs (Sometimes I set TVs in places that sims can't really wath them from chairs or sofas. This mod will help them to sit and watch the TVs.)

I used cheats to build it and I tested it so everything should work fine.
(Apart from the small greenery room. It is just for "views". I wanted to recreate it from TS3 but sims can't actually get into this room in my TS2 version of this house.)

I didn't use any custom content to build this.

There are all needed alarms like fire and burglar alarms in all rooms that they need to be in. They are covered up with furnitures or architecture structures.

I built this in "The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection", so I don't know how it will work with other versions of the game.

I hope you enjoy!
