Mod Description

This mod awards celebrity points to dedicated artists who create high quality art!

If The Sims 3: Showtime is installed, celebrity points will also be awarded to performers who successfully complete gigs.

This is a script mod that can be placed in your Packages folder. It was built and tested on 1.69 but should work fine on 1.67.

Requirements

This mod requires The Sims 3: Late Night to function. The following expansion packs are optional.
  • The Sims 3: Ambitions
  • The Sims 3: Showtime
  • The Sims 3: University Life

Overview

Painters and Sculptors who create Brilliant or Masterpiece quality pieces will gain 50 or 100 celebrity points, respectively.

Street Artists who create Masterpiece quality murals will gain 100 celebrity points.

Writers who publish Hit or Best Seller books will gain 50 or 100 celebrity points, respectively.

Singers, Acrobats, and Magicians who complete Standard, Great, Excellent, or Legendary quality performances will gain 25, 50, 100, or 200 celebrity points, respectively.

DJs who complete gigs will gain 50 celebrity points.

Sims with the Star Quality trait will earn more celebrity points than sims without the trait, similar to how celebrity interactions work in The Sims 3: Late Night.

All of the following values are tunable in the mod’s XML files.

This is a new script mod so there shouldn’t be any conflicts.
