Several months have gone by, Anastacia is crawling, Selena is almost ready for her own room and Sno is again with child. It's the dead of Summer and absolutely stifling in the palace.
Sno finds herself wandering outside the palace for longer and longer right after the sun goes down, when its coolest outside. She picks an apple from the tree and sits on the ground to eat it. She sees the clouds in the sky and hears the birds finding their way to their nests. It's such a peaceful evening..
Then she feels a pain. The baby is coming. She pushes herself up and waddles to the kitchen where thankfully she finds Esther.
"Esther dear..its time." She says taking her hand and leading her upstairs.
Once inside the room, it's only a few hours before Prince Brody is born.
He has almost no hair at all, only a few wisps atop his tiny head. He is the first Prince born to the kingdom in decades. This time loyal subjects have gathered outside the palace walls to welcome the new baby.
Sno stands at the window in her bedchamber. She looks out and sees hundreds of candles. It warms her heart as she cuddles little Brody against her breast. Her loyal subjects have gathered and waited through the night for their Prince's birth.
Sno kisses Brody's soft hair and breathes in his scent. Everything is perfect.
"Is it true?" Charming asks suddenly entering the bedchamber. "I have a son?" he asks hopeful.
Sno smiles and turns to him, revealing the tiny babe not yet wrapped in swaddling clothes.
"Yes Love. It's true, we have a son." Sno says beaming.
Charming kisses her head once more and then helps her back to their bed to rest. Once comfortable in bed, Sno holds Brody against her shoulder. She allows his tiny head to nestle between her shoulder blade, as their breaths synchronize together. Within moments she in a deep state of relaxation and contentment.
