This house was requested by Starzndice.
**WARNING** This is an extremely large house with a large amount of custom content. If you decide to download this house, be prepared for slower loading times and slower playing times. At least, that's what it did to my computer, so unless you have a fantastic computer with large amounts of memory and an impressive graphics card, I would suggest that you don't download this house. Unless of course, you have large amounts of patience for loading times
The request asked for the following rooms:
~ six regular bedrooms, each with attached bathrooms
~ a master bedroom, with two attached bathrooms
~ a main visiting area
~ a recreation area
~ 4-car garage
~ a huge living room area
~ indoor and outdoor pools
~ a pond
~ a dance hall (big enough for DJ booth, karaoke, etc)
~ a rooftop area
~ basically plenty of room for all the cool stuff in the game (bowling alleys, bars, etc)
~ basically: a beautiful home with all the amenities for an eight or more family of sims
In addition, the following rooms have been added:
~ kitchen
~ dining
~ extra bathroom near the main visiting area
~ outdoor entertainment area
~ back porch
~ balconies on three levels
In order for all the furnishings and windows/doors to work correctly, you need to download the following:
~ Windows from S2L: Click on 'Objects' under the 'Build' heading, hit 'I agree', select 'Build' picture from 'New Objects meshes'. Finally, the windows are on page 3, Mesh D.
~ Doors from S2L: Follow the same steps as above, although the doors are on page 1, Mesh E.
~ Reva furniture from S2L: Follow the steps above, although instead of selecting the 'Build' picture, select the 'Living Room' picture. The Reva furniture is on page 4, and you only need the sofas meshes.
The following custom content has been included:
~ Parasol from Mango Sims
~ Chairs from: ATS, birgit43 , Reflex Sims and Mango Sims
~ Coconut and Laurana sets from 11dots
~ Tables by Frankie and birgit43
~ Grill by Zookini here on MTS2
~ Recolour of Maxis piano from S2L
~ Entertainment unit in Cherry and White by WDS
~ Ceramic Hob by Boblishman and Numenor here on MTS2
~ Fruitless Fig Tree recolour by LadyMoonbeam
~ Modern Wood Bedroom set by Sunair Sims
~ Pentago Bathroom set by Bitzybus here on MTS2
~ Tubular Bed in blue, white, grey, black and red by Samekh here on MTS2
~ Garden District Bed by Frankie
~ Bathroom acessories and plants by ATS and Reflex Sims
~ Walls by Pam's Themes, Nay, and LyricLee and Rentechd
~ Floors by Nengi65, Besen, SwtNess2, GrandDuchessEmerald, Reflex Sims, Nay, LyricLee and Rentechd, and Marylou and Numenor
~ Diving board and ladder recolour by tdkjunkie here on MTS2
~ Terrain paint and stairs by tdkjunkie here on MTS2
~ Plants and outdoor decorations by 4ESF, birgit43 and Lucas
This house has been created on a 5x5 lot, contains three full floors, a basement and a rooftop area, and has a total furnished price of 383,709 simoleons!
The outdoor pool has been created as a swimmable lake (I used the tutorial by tdkjunkie, thanks for a wonderful tute!), due to the request for a tree in the middle of it. There are some known glitches with this swimmable lake.
Firstly, when your sim is diving into the lake, they will actually fall through the board before diving in. This is common and won't affect the gameplay nor the swimming.
Secondly, if you don't tell your sim to get out of the pool before they need/are told to do something (eat, use the toilet, etc), they will actually 'swim' through the land and house. To prevent this, make sure you always click on the ladder and tell them to 'get out'.
Thirdly, as the lake has been created using a terrain paint, you won't actually be able to see your sim's body through the water. Once again, this is common and won't affect the gameplay.
Finally, when you do tell your sim to 'get out' of the lake, there is a minor glitch with the graphics for using the ladder. The sim sort of 'jumps' up to the ladder, since it actually 'floats' above the lake. There is no actual affect on gameplay here either, and your sim gets out quite happily.
These are the only glitches that I found with this house, so if you find any others, please let me know and I'll attempt to fix it for you!

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
