Hi to you all.

Yesterday I scowered the site and came across a request for a house by Lewis14. I had already seen this house design on the website before, so I was aware of it. And here it is, it had no name for it so I just called it 42 Pleasent View Drive.

Below are pictures of it, but first I will run you though the prerequisities. You need all of the expansion packs to run this (Uni, NL, OFB). You may also require to download some meshes, but they are all included in the file below. In case this happens, I have provided you with all the websites where the items came from. If you look around in the appropriate sections, you will find the items you need, and even if you don't find the stuff, I'm sure there will be many other objects which you might like.

Here is a list of all the custom content featured in the house, organized by what they are:

(all of these web addresses were correct and working at the time of writing this)

Stairs

Windows
  • Big Round Windows - Helena, http://www.pixelsims.com
  • The "Function of Plate Glass" Windows (these are the floor-to-ceiling windows which have a black outline and shady glass. I only use two of them with this house, but there are many more on this website. - http://www.m-sim-o.com/

Doors

Floors
  • One Large Narrow Plank Light - Me. I uploaded similar re-colours of this Maxis floor on this site some time ago.
  • "Black Degrees No. 1" Tile - Me. I altered this from a Maxis floor as I needed a black and white version, not a green and baige one.
  • Paper Mach Limestone Flooring - Me. I recoloured this from a Maxis floor to give more grey to it, instead of yellow.

Bathroom Objects

Counter Objects
  • Chidettina "Archipelago" Kitchen Island (black diner-counter with a glass top, not the Maxis one. It is used in the downstairs bathroom) - http://www.m-sim-o.com (it is page 2 under objects/surfaces)

Mirrors

Fences
  • LAURANA Interior Fences (All of the fences are part of this collection) - 11dots.com, http://11dots.com
  • LAURANA Interior Beam, http://11dots.com
  • LAURANA Sloped 1, http://11dots.com
  • LAURANA Sloped 2, http://11dots.com
  • LAURANA Sloped 3, http://11dots.com
  • LAURANA Sloped Middle, http://11dots.com
  • BARCELONA Fence, http://11dots.com

Tables
  • Coffee Table Outside, created by Sims2Sisters, http://www.sims2sisters.sme.sk

Description of the House

Ok, I think the house has a slight traditional construction design, with a tiled roof, and brick wall, but the overall design is high-tech and cutting. There are many contemporary features in this house, namely the biggest being the glass annex attached to the house, housing the spa. This is a big design statement for this house to make, and I think it adds alot to it.

There are two floors to this house, the ground floor having all the things you
would find in a normal house. The ground floor has a split in it, one bit being a collection of bedrooms and bathrooms, the second area being the main living/dining/kitchen area, and the garage space (which can hold two cars). There is also a glass room attached to the house, and this can be used as a spa, indoor garden, or painting/piano area.

The second floor has a "granny" flat, with its own enclosed bedroom and bathroom. It has a seperate kitchen and living area from the main living area downstairs. This could be used by your elderly Sims, or could be transformed into a home business area. There are three further bedrooms on this floor.

Well, all I have left to say is enjoy my creation, and happy Simming!
