Little Annie is a small Queen Anne style Victorian home. It sits on a 2x2 lot and costs $48, 371. Little Annie was inspired by the beautiful Victorian siding by The Sorceress. I just love the color -- though it was hard to decide. She made it in several other beautiful colors. The pattern is exquisite and lines up perfectly. (of course, I’ve learned to expect nothing less from Jolanda,, aka The Sorceress.).

The house is fully furnished in a light, feminine, garden style. One note, if you are redecorating -- even though it doesn’t look like it, the area with all the plants in the bedroom has too low of a ceiling (due to roofline) for sims to access. Don’t put a chess set there and expect them to be able to play it. You will need to use move_objects on to place items in this area.. It is just the one row of tiles right next to the wall.

DOWNLOAD: You need to download the Very Big Oleander from Aussie TopEnders, http://www.aussietopenders-sims2.com/. It is under “New Meshes” and is titled: Lucas’ Giant Garden Music Oleander. It would be a good idea to download it when you have a little extra time, because you will undoubtedly find other things you need.

The Sorceress: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/the sorceress/. An inspirational maker of fine walls and floors -- each are perfect, as you can see by the exterior of this house. Her creations are featured at some of the best sites -- The Sims Resource, Parsimonious and now … she has her own small website. It currently features her charming, Charmed Project.

Ailias: http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=16333 is a very talented and versatile Sim creator. In this lot you will see examples of his architectural recolor and one of his indispensable edge smoothers.

MacaRossi: http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=44745. I am going to quote the catalog description for her roof edger, because it is so, so true: This small pediment may seem meek and unassuming, but its contribution to your Sims' monumental building efforts cannot be denied.

SunniSims: http://kimberspace.mattwork.potsdam...isims/index.php It is hard to imagine building any Victorian period home without something from Sunni. In this house, it is a simple white fence that edges the porch perfectly. Though not used here, be sure you take a look at all the marvelous stairs she has -- you won’t have to use those ugly clunky Maxis stairs any more.

KomoSims, VonNdaSun & SimLin55: http://www.komosims.net/. Have I ever posted a house without something from the wonderful creators at Komosims? I don’t think so. There are just too many quality walls, floors, and terrains for them not to be included. Plus, these talented ladies have begun to do a few select recolor -- all to the same exacting quality standards of the walls.

Rmschoon: http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=51057. I tend to think of her as our Lady of Ancient Culture -- she has brought so many wonder bits of the antiquities to the Sims. Her multi-sized tile floors makes me wish that every patterned floor came in all the sizes.

Tarox: http://www.tarox4sims2.de/. One of my favorite sim furniture stores. The items are all done so perfectly. I love how timeless they are.

Fat D: http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=26526. Fat D has made a number of useful items, but the must-have item (IMHO) is the downshift: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=135757. Don’t let his utilitarian description fool you -- this is the most versatile decorating ‘object’ there is!

DarylMarkLoc: http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=243958. Daryl has created many useful objects for your simming pleasure. That ‘just-so-perfect-and-natural’ tree you see in the front yard is just one small example.

Parsimonious: http://www.parsimonious.org/. This large site offers everything from genetics to furniture to building supplies to clothes -- and all of it beautifully made. The talented staff of artists are generous -- freely sharing their work with the simming community.

Lethe_s: http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=50252. Some people think Lethe_s things only fit in elven or medieval neighborhoods -- but they are wrong. Graceful lines and beautiful detail are at home in any time setting.

MarinaSims: http://www.marinasims.net/sims2.html. A nice selection of quality doors, windows, pillars and objects. Her items tend to be both beautiful and unique.

Mary Lou & Numenor: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=158602. This talented team brought us wonderful garden versatility and beauty with the modular round flower beds. Include in that post, almost unnoticed is a grey brick edger that fits so nicely in so many yards.

RoddyAleixo: http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=22075. What is the most practical and useful driveway surface??? Why invisible, of course! Roddy had the skill and was kind enough to make it for all us simmers.

The SimStones by The Mod Squad: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=172481. A little bit of the stone age terrain is preserved in this Victorian lot.

Brighten11: http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=161468. An accomplished builder whose buildings are so much more special due to all the customized walls and floors she makes for them. She has graciously allowed me to borrow a little of that ‘shine’ for my own buildings.
