Potted Harvestables - 4 trees, 3 pot colors
I love Echo's harvestable crops. They add so much to base game play. There are 4 new small tropical trees for your sims to harvest -- orange tree, lemon tree, lime tree and curry tree. Since very few of us live in the subtropics or warmer, these trees are potted up. The pots are recolorable. The repository technique was used for the pots. You must have BTB-HarvestOrange-20110218-MASTER in your download folder for the pots to appear correctly.
Potted citrus trees are a beloved 'must have' in sun rooms across the US. The curry tree, or sweet neem, is from southern India. The leaves are used to make curry powder. I don't know if the fruits are eaten or not. Having the sim pick off branches wasn't very satisfying (the tree looked ugly without a 'crop' and the polys went way up.) I loved the pictures of great globules of red-purple-blue curry berries, so I went back to the 'fruit' concept. Your sims will 'harvest' the berry clusters and your tree stays pleasantly shaped and bushy.
In addition to the 4 new trees (orange, lemon, lime & curry) there are two pot recolors included -- green & wood.
You must have Echo's Harvest Basket in your download folder for the harvest feature to work correctly. I have included the harvest basket in the download file. If you go on periodic download sprees, it can be a major PITA to get 'required' downloads organized and associated with all the files. However, even though you don't need any of her other files, you will probably want the rest of her set -- so go check it out & be sure to mark thanks. The electric fence is a gas.
Many thanks to Echo for all of her great work and sharing. She is the genius behind these clever plants.
You are welcome to clone these to assist in making more potted crops.
Special cloning instructions: Clone in the normal way. Get new GUID in normal way. Copy GUID into BHAV -- Sub - find next plant. Lines 1 & 10.. Be sure to give Echo credit!

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.
