The “Pet Threat” cat display case. This cat display case subtly suggests to your customers what may happen to kitty if no one buys her. No, it doesn’t actually kill the cat – I lack the programming skills necessary to make that happen.

This display case is a combination of parts from the original Maxis display case, and parts modeled by myself. The textures are all created by me.

Find in Miscellaneous – Pet in community/ business lot. You will need the Pets EP for this download to work.

You may modify and distribute this objects however you like, just give “Bootsbrisket” credit in the description and indicate what changes you have made, if any.

To make this display case, I used SimPE V60b, Animation Master V12 (modeling), UV Mapper Professional, Milkshape V1.7.10, and Sims 2 UniMesh Importer/Exporter V4.06.

Total polygons in this display case: 2,354
Total polygons in original Maxis display case: 1,222

Cost if purchased for business: 222 (same as original)

Installation:
Unzip and place the file in you’re My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads directory (or wherever your download directory is.)

(Also, sorry, I can’t make a version for dogs – I’ve tried and I get cats instead of dogs. Something about "self-referentiation in frequently called semiglobal," and apparently it’s a monstrous undertaking to fix.)
