Playable! Affordable! Partially Expandable!

This is a large starter lake house designed to fit with my beach neighborhood theme. Fully furnished with all the necessary skilling objects, it's raised on stilts above the water with stairs leading down to a little diving platform so the sims can swim in the pond. It's uninhabited, and no expansion packs are required. Hope you like it.

Lot Size: 2x3
Price: 19,880 (about 12,000 unfurnished)
1st floor: kitchen, foyer, bath, porch + dining area, swimming pond, kid's room/office
2nd floor: terrace and small flower garden, 2nd balcony, master bedroom

Expandability: Depending on your needs, the first floor kid's room can be extended out an extra square to become a master bedroom or a large nursery. There's also space for an additional bathroom on the second floor, should you choose to build one.

=================================
I love the idea of starter homes with swimmable lakes and I'd been meaning to add one to my beach neighborhood for some time, but I can't really take credit for thinking of it all by myself. This tutorial, by JusttheBast, explains how to do it:

Don't be afraid to put furniture outside (for example, reward objects or a bed on the upper terrace)--after all, it is a summer cottage, and the outdoor spaces are meant to be used. I have no idea how it will play in seasons, but I assume well because they should get an extra motive boost from being outside.

Thanks Amber!
