Since my first idea of using a box for a home was well received last time, I decided to go for it again, but with a twist - I wanted to extend the house and make it much more developed, yet still keep it fully furnished and under $20,000.

Details
This house started off as a mere 8x8 box with a very simple roof and a 1x2 jut at the front to add charm. The roof was the first thing to be changed - the angle of the roof was increased making way for a dormer to be put in place. The angle of the roof changes near the top - it gives the house that rustic barn feel. The extra roof space means possible room for a loft conversion, or even a whole second floor if you felt like doing so when your sims have more money. Bay windows were added to both sides of the house to allow room for a double bed in the bedroom, and side access to the house from the living room. These additions have made this former box seem much larger, yet still affordable for the starter sim.

The lot has been play-tested and works very well. Any kind of sim could live in this house, although I'd suggest that players start this lot with just one sim, or a couple - there isn't enough space for a family without expanding the house - of course, this could always happen in time.

There is room for a driveway if the trees to the left are sold, and there is plenty of room for future expansion on the lot. The lot itself is 2x2, and the entire property comes to $19859. The entire house is fully furnished

Thanks to...
-Numenor for creating the AnyGameStarter, which without this lot would not only require Nightlife and Seasons.
-poplers, plasticbox and deann000, for without their help this house would not be anywhere as "extended" and much more boxy :D

I hope you like this lot - please feel free to leave feedback or suggestions :D
