Here’s a small old village for your sims to enjoy.
Works well for a medieval type lot, or a modern day restoration project.

Rent: 811 – 2,311 simoleons

This lot has five apartments
The guard house: Three story apartment with a small garden, balcony, bath, kitchen, study and master bedroom.



Applebee Cottage: Cottage with a small garden, dining/kitchen area, living room, bath and master bedroom.



Stonewall cottage: Small cottage with a cellar, bath, master bedroom and kitchen/living area



Miller’s quarters: Large apartment with two bedrooms, living/kitchen area, bath and a small study
The miller’s assistant: Tiny apartment with bath, single bedroom and a living/kitchen area.



Apartment are furnished with the necessary comforts. Make sure to ‘Rent furnished’ if you want your sims to actually enjoy the furnishings!
When choosing an apartment, turn on ‘boolprop testingcheatsenabled true’, then shift-click on the door and choose ‘Rent furnished’. This is a bit tricky, as it tends to drop from the queue. I find it works best if you stand right in front of the doormat. Make sure to turn off the testing cheats by typing ‘boolprop testingcheatsenabled false’ into the cheat box before continuing.

Notes: There doesn’t seem to be a way to stop the landlord from coming in your garden to water and tend the crops, but he doesn’t steal them, so yay
