'Up A Tree' Treehouse Starter. 1st Floor Furnished.
trees, one at each corner. A suggestion in the Creator Feedback Forum recommended making this a one story only, but the consequence would have
been absolutely no room for expansion. This way the house is perfect for a
sim couple looking to have a family or have a relative or roommate or two
move in later on.
The first floor is fully furnished, with a dining area, full bathroom (shower and
separate bathtub), bedroom with a double bed, a livingroom, kitchen with a
10-hunger stove and garbage disposal unit--plus a refrigerator, of course, and
a cappucino machine. There is a small bookcase and a television for logic/etc.
gains in-game.
The second floor is mostly empty space for additions when your sims can
afford them except for a 1/2 bathroom with a toilet and a sink. A normal
stairs leads to the second floor while the first floor can be reached by ladder.
Marvine's 'Just a ladder' was used in front. It's complete with animations and
a recolor by Marvine. A great item! I believe even a pet can climb it.
morphead's affordable yet attractive Jasce Dome lamp from his Jasce
Collection illuminates the house nearly throughout, augmented by two Maxis
lamps standing at each side of the livingroom sofas. Both custom items (lamp
and ladder), are included with the home--the proper links and credits are
towards the bottom of this post.
Outside is a pond that is partially under the house (you can see it fairly
well in the front-of-house picture), and there's quite a bit of landscape
painting. Plus, there's a small flowerbed around the base of the ladder and
the four large trees 'holding' the house up. The lot is small, only 2X2 squares.
I barely squeaked by this time to come in under the 20k mark--19,998
simoleons.

I hope everyone that downloads my treehouse enjoys it. This one was just a
bit different to make, but it was lots of fun. I still like to try my best in making
unusual structures. Take Care and Enjoy!

Thanks a bunch for the use of your wonderful creations, folks!
Additional Credits:
Special Thanks to the following people that helped me decide how to proceed
with this rather unusual home: Christine11778, (who pointed out that dark
green probably wasn't the best color for the house and that the stairs didn't
quite fit in with the exterior of the house). alidarivera, (recommended one
story and different siding, and liked my ladder idea. I might make a one-story
version of this one later on). MysticRain (suggested putting the pond under
the house, which I did--at least partially). morphead for suggesting wood
siding. Good call! And sweetswami77 for just plain liking the house, lol.
Thank you all very much for your input, critique and support!

Install Instructions
1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
