Elders piling up around your neighborhood?
Unwanted pets stacking up in the adoption bin?

Move them all to a retirement home. They will enjoy living out their days in clean, quiet, simple surroundings.
Plenty of social, plenty of activities, and with a stove hack, virtually care-free. Play them one day every time you open up your game and soon you will be able to start that cemetery you were planning :-)

Seriously though, this building is specially designed to play large numbers of Sims at once, not an Apartment Life-type retirement lot. It has open floor plans, wide stairways, super layout and great lines of sight. I have play-tested it for about 4 sim-weeks with 6-8 Sims and one or two pets. Even though not all the elders are platinum, the most I usually have to do is direct them to invite over a kid or grand kid once in awhile when they need cheering up. They have a huge combined income so buying them things is not a problem and if you have FT or AL there's plenty of space for more activities.

Sleeps 8. With 2 doors to a bedroom, each elder can be assigned using the 'lock' function and they will always go to their proper rooms for sleep/shower. Bedrooms fit two twins or a double for roomies or couples.

Load a test Sim named Joe Retirement Home before your first elder and you will have the fun of an appropriate neighborhood hover.

Also try the 10-room dorm version; 6 small townie rooms on the third floor and 4 nice ones on the ground floor. Play-tested for one Simester and also runs very smoothly. Zoned dorm, this will only show up in your Uni hoods.

The Retirement Home only is shown with Schmidt's Wunder Tub Transparent Recolor by Ailias.

It did not seem like it was packaged with the lot so I included it in the .rar file. I wanted to save you as much trouble as possible because I am now going to send you on a shopping trip.

Custom Content Required But Not Included:
Usually when I see a list like this I run like crazy but in this case it seemed like nothing would do but Shoukier's stuff at Sims2Play so I have made it very easy for you to find everything. Look around while you are there...you will probably see much more you can't live without.

CC Highly Recommended But Not Required:

Are you back? Good. Let's talk about hacks. I've tried a lot of different ones and I usually end up taking them out because they do too much or not enough or cause a conflict or upset the balance of the game in some unforeseen way. I've never had any problems with the following hack and I would not play my retirement home without it. All it does is make the dorm cook show up where ever you install a Shiny Tyme Cooktop and cook for the rest of the folks there. He keeps the same dorm hours from about 4am to 12am and he still needs a counter to set the meals on. This has never caused me any problems when playing an actual dorm. If you must have the Cooktop without the cook in some residence for some reason, do like I do and keep your hacks in a special subfolder and pull it out when necessary. You can get it at Simlogical:
SHINY TYME NPC EVERYWHERE PATCH

Neither dorm nor retirement home contain content from FT/AL/Ikea but were packaged after installation of those EPs.
