Now we go across the country from the West Coast to Washington D.C. Still mid-century but a completely different vibe. To quote the
River Park website: River Park is a housing cooperative, or co-op, community of townhouses and apartments located on 11 park-like acres in the Southwest Waterfront, a residential neighborhood in Southwest Washington, D.C., designed by the renowned Mid-century modern architect Charles M. Goodman.
Dating to 1962, the barrel roofs and custom aluminum screens are design choices that definitely fall into the retrofuture category. This build requires the Moschino pack which is not an option yet on the upload checklist. This has been sitting in my design folder for sometime and I knew I could finally get to build it once I saw the Moschino windows. I styled the front and back after different units from the large River Park complex. The interior is not especially authentic, I just went for an industrial loft look with the obligatory photo studio downstairs, but you could easily turn this into one loft apartment.
