James R. Gleck knows the Sim world better than his father, Avkonka, ever could. He's lived it after all, experienced its true ups and downs, and in a body that is closer to Simish than Marcabian.

His father's influences are not wholly lost, however. James is a bookworm, genius, flirty, and wants nothing more than a family to call his own. He also loves sushi, a treat his father tells him is unavailable back in Marcab.

Though James is curious about his roots, his life as a Sim is what's really important to him. All he wants is to have a family and a modest house and a good job. That's all. He may be complicated biologically, but otherwise, he is pretty simple.

Or so he wishes.
