In Sims 2 the grandparents didn’t age unless you played them, so I got in the habit of having them live with one of their children and help raise the grandchildren. Since they can age on their own in Sims 3 it is not necessary to do that but after trying it out I decided that I enjoy the extra help with the kids so I am starting a series of Generation Houses.

This house has master bedroom, 3 {4 x 6} child bedrooms and grandparent quarters. Hope you like stairs because this home has 4 levels.

The parents both being only children bought this home in the hopes of hearing lots of tiny footsteps, but as fate would have it, they where unable to have children until very late in life. With the help of fertility treatments they did finally have a set of twin girls. Shortly after the girls graduated high school the parents died. The girls not able to bare parting from each other returned to their childhood home. The oldest twin finally took over the master bedroom when she married and has recently started her family. The youngest twin has just married and moved into the lower level grandparent quarters.
