All careers are Compressorized, EP ready.

Believe it or not, there's a limit to how much description you can fit into one post, so this got broken up into a two-part set. (I could've done it as a multi-post download, too, but I'm not that talented.) So here's the first of two parts of a bunch of Hunger Games custom careers. The next post will be 3 adult careers, focusing on ordinary people in both the Capitol and Districts 1-12.

But back to tributes and rebels...

The teen and adult tribute careers are linked; the adult career starts with Victor, since only teenagers can be tributes. (By the books, if you weren't a tribute as a teen, you shouldn’t have the tribute career as an adult.) The tribute career is for Katniss and Peeta, the Rebel for Gale. Pay is balanced between these 6 careers: the adult Tribute track has huge starting salaries, but also enormous skilling requirements, and is meant to reflect that a Victor of the Hunger Games is going to make more than anyone back in their district. Salaries in part 2 of this set will also be balanced with these careers.

Hunger Games Tribute (teen)
Icon: Mockingjay
Focused Skills: Body, Creativity, Charisma, Cooking
Levels: Tribute-in-Training, Tribute, Victor
Top Salary: 123
Notes: The salaries aren’t the insane values they are for the adult career; they’re relatively high for teens, but I didn’t want to have a teen career that would pay thousands of dollars. Also, this links to the adult Tribute career, and has MUCH higher skilling requirements than any other Teen career. It takes serious skills to win the Hunger Games.

Level 1: Tribute-in-Training
Workdays: M T W Th F
Hours: 3 pm-7 pm
Salary: 74
Description: You've been Reaped for the Hunger Games: one of two teenagers from your district who will be forced to battle in a duel to the death with teens from other districts for the amusement of the Capitol's citizens. But first, you have a short time in which to learn how to survive in the arena. Use it well.

Level 2: Tribute
Workdays: M T W Th F
Hours: 3 pm-7 pm
Salary: 112
Description: The day of judgment has arrived, and you're thrown in to the arena to compete with twenty-three other tributes who all want you dead. Make alliances if you want, try to hold onto your sanity if you can, and survive at all costs: but remember, there can only be one victor left standing at the end of the Games. The rules are simple: you win or you die.

Level 3: Victor
Workdays: W Th F Sa Su
Hours: 3 pm-6 pm
Salary: 123
Description: Congratulations! You won your year's Hunger Games, and are now granted a life of luxury beyond anything you could have imagined. Your district will be given extra food and luxuries for a year, and you'll receive a luxurious home of your own, along with freedom from working in your district's industry. It seems too good to be true; is it?

Hunger Games: Tribute (adult)
Icon: Mockingjay
Focused Skills: Body, Creativity, Charisma, Cooking
Reward: Punching Bag
Levels: Victor, Mentor, Talent, President’s Slave, Quarter Quell Tribute, Propo Star, Rebel Soldier, Rebel Commander, Mockingjay, Historian
Top Salary: 2447
Notes: Yes, the starting salary is meant to be that high. The Hunger Games careers are salary-balanced against one another; in this case, it’s meant to show how imbalanced the distribution of wealth in Panem is. Also, since a victor of the Hunger Games is going to be richer than even the wealthiest merchant in their hometown, the salaries for the adult Tribute career reflect this (but also have enormous starting skill requirements, and it’s the only career I’ve created with a skill requirement to obtain level 1 of the career. Hint: if you made it to the top of the Teen Tribute career, you have the skills.)

Level 1: Victor
Workdays: W Th F Sa Su
Hours: 4 pm-1 am
Salary: 1241
Description: Congratulations! You won your Hunger Games, and are treated as befits a victor. A victory tour through each of the districts, culminating in a joyous return home, and finally a splendid feast in the Capitol: this is everything you could have hoped for when you set foot in the arena. Could things be as good as they seem?

Level 2: Talent
Workdays: M T W Th F
Hours: 10 am-3 pm
Salary: 1339
Description: As a victor of the Hunger Games, you're exempted from participating in your district's industry. Instead, you'll develop some sort of talent, something you can brag about to the people in the Capitol. Painting, fashion design, weightlifting, harp playing, baking, dancing, singing, poetry: you can do anything that turns you into an ornament of your district.

Level 3: Mentor
Workdays: M W F Sa
Hours: 12 pm-7 pm
Salary: 1446
Description: Part of a victorious tribute's duty is to mentor tributes from your district in subsequent Hunger Games. Every year, you'll have to train the male tribute from your district, procure sponsors for him, and send him into the arena to meet his fate. If you're lucky, he'll return alive, as a victor. If not, his face will haunt you until your dying day.

Part of a victorious tribute's duty is to mentor tributes from your district. Every year, you'll have to train the female tribute from your district, procure sponsors for her, and send her into the arena to meet her fate. If you're lucky, she'll return alive, as a victor. If not, her face will haunt you until your dying day.

Level 4: President’s Slave
Workdays: Th F Sa Su
Hours: 8 pm-4 am
Salary: 1519
Description: You soon discover the dark side to victory. Despite having won the Hunger Games, the victorious tributes are as much the Capitol's slaves as the poorest worker. You're an attractive victor, and the President of Panem wants to use you for his own schemes. Agree, and you'll continue to enjoy the benefits of your status; try to go against him, and he'll kill everyone you love. You're paid a great deal for your services, but you don't know how life could get worse.

Level 5: Quarter Quell Tribute
Workdays: M T W Th F
Hours: 8 am-4 pm
Salary: 1607
Description: Life just got worse in a big way: for the next Quarter Quell, the President has announced that you'll be heading back into the arena, to fight other victors. You know all of your opponents; in fact, you're friends with most of them. Yet it appears that only one of you can survive, and you already know who you want to come out on top.

Level 6: Propo Star
Workdays: M T W Th F
Hours: 9 am-3 pm
Salary: 1721
Description: Rescued by District Thirteen, you agree to act as a star in their propaganda broadcasts. As a star of their propaganda, your goal is to convince the people of the other districts to rise up in rebellion. Do so, and you can begin to get revenge on the Capitol that enslaved you for so long.

Level 7: Rebel Soldier
Workdays: M T W Th F
Hours: 8 am-4 pm
Salary: 1804
Description: You decided that actually fighting in the war was more important than creating political propaganda, and the military council of District Thirteen agreed with you. You're now undergoing training that will make you effective in the middle of a war. Prove your leadership skills to advance.

Level 8: Rebel Commander
Workdays: M T W Th F
Hours: 8 am-3 pm
Salary: 1888
Description: You've proved yourself a competent soldier, and District Thirteen has promoted you to head a regiment of troops from your former district. On the ground, you provide real leadership to your people, along with a morale boost. Keep fighting, and hopefully, the Capitol will crumble.

Level 9: Mockingjay
Workdays: M T W Th
Hours: 9 am-2 pm
Salary: 2112
Description: The districts needed a figurehead more than another mid-rank officer, so you stepped up to fill that position. As the Mockingjay, you represent the fight for freedom in a very personal way. It's up to you to provide a shining beacon of hope, bolstering morale as the war continues to drag on without end.

Level 10: Historian
Workdays: T W Th
Hours: 9 am-1 pm
Salary: 2447
Description: The war was over, and there was no more need for a Mockingjay - not that you had any desire to be one, as tired of war as you were. Now, you've appointed yourself a historian, in charge of remembering all those who died in the Hunger Games and the war. It's up to you to make sure that people remember, because you want to make sure that atrocities like the ones you've seen can never happen again.

Hunger Games Rebel
Icon: Mockingjay in Flight
Focused Skills: Logic, Mechanical, Creativity, Body, Cleaning
Reward: Obstacle Course
Levels: Fleeing Fugitive, Rebel Recruit, Foot Soldier, Propo Cameraman, Medic, Hovercraft Pilot, Military Strategist, Propo Producer, War Council Member, President
Top Salary: 4063
Notes: You only need to max out 1 skill to reach the top of this career, but have to develop more skills overall, and at different times: you’ll need Mechanical and Body skill early, but Creativity and Logic late, and a little bit of Cleaning in the middle.

Level 1: Fleeing Fugitive
Workdays: T Th F Sa Su
Hours: 7 am-3 pm
Salary: 110
Description: Unable to take life in Panem any more, you've fled your district on foot, hoping to find the elusive District Thirteen. It's a hard road to follow, and you've got little more to go on than hope, but follow it and you might just discover the only people in North America who are out of the reach of the President of Panem.

Level 2: Rebel Recruit
Workdays: M T W Th F
Hours: 8 am-4 pm
Salary: 372
Description: Against impossible odds, you discovered that District Thirteen has survived, and is eagerly taking in refugees from Panem. Eventually, you want to become an active rebel fighting for freedom, but first, you've got to recover from the toll that malnutrition and a difficult journey took on your body. Learn the ways of District Thirteen and start making yourself useful if you hope to move up in the world.

Level 3: Foot Soldier
Workdays: M T W Th F
Hours: 8 am-4 pm
Salary: 654
Description: You've completed basic training and been inducted into District Thirteen's army. War is brewing between the Capitol and the districts, and when it begins, you need to be ready to fight for freedom. Make sure you keep up your Body and Mechanical skill.

Level 4: Propo Cameraman
Workdays: M T W Th F
Hours: 8 am-4 pm
Salary: 862
Description: Catching the attention of a high-ranking official, you've been promoted to a safer job: that of a cameraman filming propaganda pieces, or "propos." Keep on your toes at all times: it'll be up to you to capture the footage that could turn the Capitol's own citizens against their government.

Level 5: Medic
Workdays: M T Th F Sa
Hours: 9 am-3 pm
Salary: 1021
Description: You wanted to do more for the cause, and you've always had something of a healer's touch, so you applied to become a medic. Training under the best doctors District Thirteen has to offer, you try to make do with your limited supplies and save all the lives you can.

Level 6: Hovercraft Pilot
Workdays: M T W Th
Hours: 10 am-5 pm
Salary: 1196
Description: Your superiors decided to entrust you with the training required to fly a hovercraft. Now, you defend District Thirteen's airspace, and occasionally go on the offensive in the other districts, providing air support for the rebels who are engaged in fighting against the Capitol.

Level 7: Military Strategist
Workdays: T W Th F Sa
Hours: 9 am-4 pm
Salary: 1889
Description: Working closely with the War Council and scientists, you have access to classified materials that few citizens of District Thirteen even know exist. Looking at the latest information on how the war's really going, you offer your opinions on how to speed the war to the close while maximizing Capitol casualties and minimizing your own. It's said that the President herself reads over your strategies, and on occasion may approve them for use.

Level 8: Propo Producer
Workdays: M T W Th
Hours: 9 am-2 pm
Salary: 2315
Description: Perception is everything: demoralized troops who feel defeated can lead to real losses on the battlefield, and keeping hope alive can lead to astonishing victories. It's your job to turn the citizens of the Capitol against their government, while keeping dissent within the districts to a minimum. To that end, you produce propos to keep people energized and happy. Victory is close - could your broadcasts finally end the war?

Level 9: War Council Member
Workdays: M T W Th
Hours: 8 am-2 pm
Salary: 3227
Description: As a member of the war council, you're one of the President's closest advisors. You review all the strategies proposed by lower-ranking officers, discuss the newest offensive technologies with scientists, and present only the best ideas to the President. You're in the upper echelons of power; if and when the Capitol falls, you're poised to reap great rewards.

Level 10: President of Panem
Workdays: M T W Th
Hours: 9 am-2 pm
Salary: 4063
Description: Congratulations! Although you had claimed the title of "President of Panem" the moment that the districts rose in revolt against the Capitol, you're now President in fact as well as name. You've worked hard, and you've earned your title, but you're worried about what your legacy might be in the years to come. You want to be the greatest war hero of all, remembered for your leadership and loved by your people. Can you make your dreams come true?
