Pleasantview's 95 Woodland Drive Renovated (Starter)

Hi, everybody!

For my second upload, I have renovated 95 Woodland Drive from Pleasantview. It has been pretty much completely revamped (for instance, the floor plan is brand new), but those of you who are familiar with the original should be able to see that some of its features are still intact.

It has been designed as a starter home for a family of three. However, I think it should be able to accommodate four Sims without any building being necessary. The Broke family moved into this house in my game and for a short period I had all four of them live here before Dustin went to college.

The house contains:
  • Hallway
  • Combined kitchen and living room
  • Bathroom
  • Two bedrooms

In order to keep the price under the § 20,000 mark I relied heavily on items from the IKEA Home Stuff Pack. All basic appliances should be included and I even managed to sneak in a few cheap, decorative items such as pictures and mirrors (again, this was thanks to my Swedish friends). On the other hand the bathroom has got a pretty high end shower for a starter, and I also chose some kitchen counters that would not require an immediate upgrade. Something I would consider investing in quickly however is a door from the living room to the back yard; for the time being the back yard is only accessible by using the path from the front door. The garden itself contains a couple of small trees and some flowerbeds.
