Horizons East - 8 Apartments - Rebuilt in 2021, now with only 3 CC

I don't know why the new 'Hood info/screenshot shows only 7 apartments? I have verified with my testSim that all 8 apartments are rent-able. The top floor left apartment was tricky to get my sim to rent (there is some kind of routing issue there - I recommend using one of the other 7 apartments for your playable sim); but, my testSim was able to eventually rent the apartment.

These apartments are fully pet ready now too

The only CC still included is:
Macarossi's Glass Elevator
Leesester's 1T Werknotham Door (Add-On)
and tBudgett's Retaining Wall top with dirt recolor

--- You will need to have[/i] Numenor's Unlevel Wall - #90 - I use this wall all the time as it is such a forgiving wall to build with

I am leaving the older files up on MTS - in case you really want that old CC - but, WARNING - I doubt the old version will play correctly because of the split landing stairs. *sigh*

This is a part of my EPSCOT hood I've been working on off-and-on for a while now. EPSCOT, the Experimental Prototype Sims Community of Tomorrow, is a study on cultural blending - much like Uncle Walt's [Disney] EPCOT is today.



Horizons East is the newest building in the area. It provides apartments for 8 of my smaller, International Sim-families. This upload includes 8 fully furnished apartments - with room for 2 Sims to live quite comfortably in each. All the apartments have the same floor plan with the same basic furnishings: appliances, plumbing, lights, phone, alarms, beds, tables, chairs, TV, bookshelves, stereo, and computers. You will want to add decorative items and skill objects, etc... The layout is very playable for 2 sims; they can even comfortably entertain 2 other sims.

The entry-level floor houses most all the buildings amenities. There is a conference room, an exercise room, game room with cards, darts, pool, and pinball, and a staffed bar. You will also find a large swimming pool in the basement, and an extraordinary light-filled community garden on the rooftop.





The building is handicap accessible too. There are ramps up the front steps and elevators that will take you to the other levels (except for the pool - which is a shame. Maybe you could remedy that when the need arises?) The "Red" level left-side apartment also has a wheelchair accessible shower stall. The overall design of the building is Modern-Neutral, so it really should appeal to a wide range of Sims. Enjoy! And, "Welcome Home!"
